anyone ever try the sunsystem 7? they have a 1000w with a 400mh and 600hps bulb in the same hood, would this help to optimize growth by putting in both spectrums?

I have one of the old sun 7 dual specs. running 250 mh and 250 hps. I love it as far as growth wise. But mine has a crappy cooling ablity.

is it the hood with the 2 4inch intakes?? i have a 180cfmhydrofarm air mover fan, i was going to designate just for the hood

ya it has 4in intakes but just holes in the hood nothing to attach ducting to it, not like my larger hood that has built in ducting tubes.

i think they sell 4 inch duct attachments at sunsystems web site, they are like $5

i just picked up the 1000w system with a 600whps and 400w mh, only $300 on ebay, perfect for my 4x4 space, plus it came with an air cooled hood, hoping this could help optimize my grow room with the dual spectrum
