All Mixed Up

It is a lil work, but I am used to it from my soil grows. Really it's not that much. I make up a solo cup with castings, kelp, and 'P' guano every week. The plants get a lil worked into the top of the soil 3-4 times during flower. Just guano after wk 6, and nothing 2wks before the chop. The waterings are the same as my soil grows, maybe even a lil less complicated. I pour a glob of molasses in a milk jug, pour a capful of Liquid Karma, and fill with tap (well) water. I will add a capful of liquid ferts here and there, but I almost never measure, and haven't checked my ph in months. I also give them leftover bubble water diluted 3:1 when I have it, up till wk 6.

It is more work taking and keeping clones than it is feeding/mixing for flower. I spend about 30 min a day 'working' on clones/re-pots/veg plants, and 30 min every other day 'working' on flowering plants (moving lights, feeding, moving plants around, etc...) It probably works out to near 30 min a day for trimming........Ugh I hate trimming.....but I love me some scissor - taste of dry sift, (near) potency of bubble...

EDIT - I picked up some 'Espoma' brand Plant tone and Bio tone, and it looks to be good stuff. I bought it primarily for outdoors, but ended up mixing a cupful of each into each of my buckets (soil mix, coco mix). I also dumped a bunch into my compost piles with some kelp, and the worms look like they are on STEROIDS lol. I will be picking more up soon, and will look into their ferts for bloom as well, as they are a lot cheaper than guano (outdoors)

Just a lil update for y'all. The OD x MM's are lookin tasty, starting to crank some resin. 2 look Miss Mud dom, and 1 looks a lil like the OD. The 2 Mud males that I had/used didn't look too much like the pics that I've seen here. They were 'sloppy stemmed' and had a leaf structure similar to blueberry. They were also dark green with a funky indica smell. They both went purple and flowered much more quickly than my SSH male or the OD male (turned out to be male-herm, so I didn't use him). The 1 that is most 'dad' leaning is throwing some bananas, but they seem to develop slowly, so I've been picking them off for now. She is the most developed (not much ahead), so she has another week before I can put her outside to finish. I did this with my TH seeds honeymoon, and it seemed to finish a lil quicker, and the bananas didn't go crazy like I was worried about. I haven't seen any on the other 2 plants.

The coco continues to live up to the hype. I am expecting 2oz+ from each of these 3, and am VERY excited for the Spice x SSH, as they are getting BIG in the mix. I have started putting clones back into the white 3.4l pots, and I haven't seen any issues. I have a spice ~4wks in a lil pot, and she is plenty happy. I will really see where the mix breaks down in a few months, as I am running a few hazy SSH cuts through in the lil pots.

I want to transplant the tomato plant on my deck, because it looks to be slowing down a bit. Fukkin thing is LUSH. The soil plant is much bigger, but the coco plant probably has 2x's the flower sites, and the flowers come off all crazy. I have some delicious compost that I want to put the 1 gallon into a 4 gallon with. I understand that this voids my lil "Sweet 100" comparison, but this plant will give me HUNDREDS of tomatoes if I treat her right.

I'll get pix 2moro.

Group shot. 4wks since 1st flower. Most Mud dom plant on left, most Orange D dom plant on right

OD x MM 1 (most Mud dom)

OD x MM 2 (Mud leaning)

OD x MM 3 (Looks a lot like Orange D.) Fans are mutated from fim jobb, the pic is not really representative of the plant.

All 3 seem to develop fans that look more and more like the mud. The mud leaners smell like dank bud, nothing too distinguishing, the OD leaner smells like OD, but heavier, almost fuelier.

Suby - Thanks bro, I see you got a new ride lol.

Here is a pic of a fan leaf stem on one of the mud leaners. I would think that these plants should STINK, as the whole plants are covered in trichs/hairs. But I can't tell them from the rest of the room.

Maybe after the fall I can afford a better cam.....

Got a few pics of the veggies for y'all. These are about a month after the pics earlier in the thread. The coco tomato has gone into a 4gallon pot with the same compost that I am using to amend my outdoor holes. Everything has been eating age-old grow, Liquid Karma, B-1 red, Molasses, PBP soil, and I topdressed yesterday with kelp, plant-tone, guano, castings. The pepper plant is still in str8 coco. I usually mix up the coco plant's food, feed it, then dilute the rest usually 2:1 and feed to the other plants. I let them all get the rainwater, and I give them all 'water only' once or twice a week.

I'll get pics of the other veggies in a few days.

EDIT - Check out the cannaloupe finishing up in the last pic, behind the peppers.....I love putting my indoor plants there for the last wk, or if they throw bananas (like this fussy bitch....).

This is the biggest of the colas on "A". She looks like she should be done in 2 weeks or so. Sorry for the yellow....

I forgot to mention that I picked up some greensand and rock phosphate and garden lime the other day. The last topdress was sprinkles of: P guano, kelp, castings, rock phosphate. Molasses only this last wk, hit em with tsp/gal of b-1, capful (quart bottle, 5-7ml) of LK, splash of ej bloom for color....

I won't be topdressing any more, and the waterings will be molasses and a capful of LK, EJ (tsp/gal) MAYBE 2-3 times.

I added some 'tropical soil' coco to my mix today, and it looks pretty good.

EDIT - I am going to leave all of the fukkups as a testament to the power of the SSH....

Suby - I meant grammatical/informational fukkups in the above post. I was too stoned to correct them lol. SSH lives up to the hype. I have 3 females, and each is KILLER. Smoking some now.....

"greensand and rock phosphate and garden lime" = greensand, r. phosphate, and garden lime - made me nuts
...splashed the EJ 1 time last few wks
...each water from here out is molasses/lk, may use the EJ 2-3 more times

I feel better.

Seriously, thanks for stoppin in, everybody

The girls are filling in nicely. I have never grown tighter buds than the buds on Orange mud #2 and the Spice that I'm running. I am chalking that up to the mix, because the tomato plant that I have in the coco has flowers that came off so close together, that many of the tomatoes forming are popping each other off. I LOVE this mix. All plants are 7wks from 1st flower, and probably 9-10 wks 12/12

Orange Mud A (comes down end of the wk)

Lower bud from B. Comes down in ~2wks

Orange Mud C. Really looking like Orange D as flower progresses. I'd like to take her to 10 full wks.

Well, C is the least mature, but she comes down 2moro morning, and if I catch 1 more banana on A or B, down they come too. If no more bananas, I'll probably chop them toward the end of the week. Each plant had lil bouts with bananas, 1 or 2 in a 2 day span, then nothing for a 2 weeks or so... But the bananas on C look waaaay too menacing, and I can't take a chance.

2moro is 8 wks since 1st flower, and 10-11wks of 12/12, so I am not chopping too early. A and B are ready, and C needs a week or so. The bottom 2/3 of C is ready...

EDIT - I'll get pix when IC lets me...
