Storing Extracts

I'm looking for some anecdotal info on what people use to store their extracts. In particular bubble and dry sieve. I'm moving to all glass for bud, i find the plastic will taint it, even if just a lid or seal. just my opinion. :joint:

If anyone knows of a cheaper alternative to the glass stash jars roor sells, PLEASE share!

airtight sealed hard plastic has no aroma. Honey, and royal jelly containers are nice. Washed jam jars or new jars have a better aroma. Salve tins, burts bee's had a nice set that comes with a pumice stone and Badger brand salve tins are nice to keep extracts in and royal jelly capsule plastic sealed bins and La Vie candy tins are nice to keep unpressed Ice hash and pressed dry sieve in.

Chamba

packed in goat skins then buried for 6+ months ...doesn't everyone do it this way?

Dr. G I usually wash mine first, which works for glass but its always that small rubber seal or somthing that infiltrates the beautiful aroma i crave.

I'm not sure if i completely agree about plastic not giving off a smell. Maybe the plastic i smell isn't hard enough, lol. as for tin, i like it for temporary transport only.

Chamba I wish i could make enough to earth cure it. i wonder how that effects taste. don't they use bladders too??

plastic interacts with the terps and stuff, basically its not good to store in plastic long term. the chems in herb or resin can actually interact with the plastic and lead to less taste and the like.

Roor jars are good glass. Here . From a practical standpoint, they suck cause the tops get stuck and you can break them trying to dig oil out of the bottom with a drill bit, which is what I use. I now keep my hash oil, and it would work fine with bubble or whatever, in small teflon baggies. Id doesnt stick, they dont contaminate your precious stuff, and they are thick and durable. I put about 4 grams in each small baggie, and I overwrap with regular seal a meal bags, and keep in the deep freeze for long term storage.

little ones were 2.95, big one was 9.95. waaaaay cheaper than roor. i can buy ten for the price of one roor. so if i break one, i buy another. :jump: the glass is def a lower quality tho. :violin: :muahaha:
