Hey all!

Wakin' n' bakin'! As I hope all of you are!

I was curious, as I'm in the need for a new water pipe... any sites you legacy smokers would recommend for us in the USA?

Most I see online, reputable, are overseas and well... although I dont mind buying seeds overseas, I'd prefer to keep my glass local - so to speak.

Bongs are not illegal in the US-- It is a State by State thing--
Tommy got busted for shipping them over State lines...and I believe also...for calling them "Bongs". They are legal under Federal Law...as long as they are intended for use with legal smoking material--
We all know that Semantics is Uncle Sam's favorite game--

and showmeglass.com the site looks pretty unprofessional but theyve got a solid rep
other than that shivadas.com has some more old schoolish bongs and other assorted headiness

i wanna say chunkyglasspipes,but.....A.they took a week longer then it should have,due to a "family emergency" and...........B....they sent be a bong bowl with NO HOLE,so i had to put one in my self.....C..HORRIBLE custemer service....


so,i don't know,i might order from them again,just becuase they are usa based and it was still faster then ordering from the u.k or somthing

Every since they sent all those US bong sellers to federal jail in Iowa for three years you dont get anyone foolish enough to want to fill that void.

There are TONS of sites that are legit and ship "waterpipes" to the states,remember its a waterpipe not a bong.EveryoneDoesIt.com is a VERY reliable source that I have ordered a few things from including a RooR.

There are places that ship seeds to the States,no?Why wouldnt they ship a smoking device?

Bongs are definately not illegal in Cali.ALmost everyshop at Venice Beach has them...Most headshops will kick you out if they here you use the word BONG...They must be called Water Pipes or its Illegal.

Yeah, and calling it a bong is labeling it a marijuana pipe. Thats why the correct legal term is waterpipe.

I've bought from them twice and all their merchandise was great. You get a 25% off discount for being a member of somethingawful.com's forums ($10 for an account). It'll pay for itself when you get a $100+ bong or something. With the discount you could get a true glass-on-glass 1.5ft bong with an ice catcher and diffuser downstem.

They're a bit of a hassle with mailing in money orders, but they have a phone number and generally throw in a few free hand pipes depending on the size of the order. Its the only headshop I buy glass at now.


They sell water pipes ;-)

Here in MA there are very few shops willing to risk it, I've never even seen a head shop around here but I hear of some places that sell some glass. In NY and other new england states I see real head shops mostly around college towns but their prices suck. You can always go with everyonedoesit or grasscity but you don't get to inspect or really see for yourself what you are buying but I have been ok so far.

Best and only way to find a head shop locally is to ask around, they can't advertise themselves as head shops and there are so many cigar shops at least around me that I would not be able to weed out the non head shops.

A lot of places won't discuss "bongs" etc but only water pipes for tobacco use only... sucks.
