Hi y'all,

Does anyone know how long the flower time is for Purple Urkel or Lifesaver? Any information on these two would be great! Sativa? Indica?

Peace

oops. My bad on that :p Lifesaver, if i recall correctly, is BOG's "Wild" unstable strain. So the finishing times can vary from 7-10 weeks i think

Lifesaver is a fabulous plant. Depending upon the pheno, 45-60 days.

I run a girl that I take at day 56, almost all the time. In the heat of the summer, she may go a little longer. And Herbsman is partially right. Lifesaver can be a bit unstable, but like everything else, find a good pheno and you are fine. I personally did not find one that flowered at the speed BOG claimed, but growing conditions vary anyway.

In cold conditions, she will purple up a bit.

This particular pheno has been going for 30+ cycles, and every once in a while I will find a seed or two in one bud.

LIVESAVER INFORMATION

LIVESAVER INFORMATION

Yield - Very Good
The Goods - Mostly Indica

Lifesaver was the third release from BOG seeds - Bogbubble and Bogglegum being the first two. All are very unique and impressive strains. Lifesaver - as the name suggests - has a tendency to turn out smelling like a roll of lifesaver candies. Properly cultivated , Lifesaver can yield very well and deliver a sedating, pain-killing high.

This strain is very effective at dulling pain the stone is couchy and very pleasant, Lighter smokers beware as Lifesaver will throw a fella for a loop if he is not careful with dosage.

Most Lifesavers seem to be ready for harvest in about 53-60 days, with a 47 - to 55- day freak popping up from time to time. For gardeners , Lifesaver is a fun strain to grow because of the heavy buds that begin to go ballistic after 35 to 40 days on a 12/12 light cycle. It's also a trip to have in the garden because of that candy smell and the greasy, gratifying resins.

There have been many good examples - on the online cultivation sites- of Lifesaver doing exceedingly well in SCROG and SOG making it a nice choice for closet growers as well as larger croppers.

I'M LIKING MY LIFESAVER... :rasta:

PURPLE URKLE INFORMATION

PURPLE URKLE INFORMATION

Purple Urkle, also known as Purple Urkel and Purple Erkle. This strain is a clone only medical strain available in California compassion clubs. Probably a pheno on Mendo Purps or The Purps it's a classical med strain.

Purple Urkle from clone only
Lineage: Mendo Purps pheno
Family: Mostly Indica
Origin: North California
Region: Not Listed
Genotype: Not Listed
Indoor Maturation: 60 to 65 days
Outdoor Maturation: Not Listed
Sex Possibilities: Pure Female Clones
Stature: Bushy but slow
Yield: 4
Odor Level: 8
Odor Description: A skunk wearing perfume
Taste Level: 9
Taste Description: Always Grapey and fine

Claims that Purple Urkle is from Lavender seed stock are largely dispelled since Lavender is neither this consistent or this good. The flavor is exquisite, and blend of skunk, berries and grapes that seems to taste the same whenever you smoke it. No matter what grower it comes from the taste and effects are the same. A heavy Idica with smaller than normal yeild, barely a 1/2 lb from a 1000 watt light. She's bushy and vegs slowly. A good 8 week strain suitable for most medical uses. The high is a bit too strong for some and is recommended at night time. The smoke is tasty, thick and pungent. It compares well with strains like Grand Daddy Purple and Grape Ape.

the yield does suck. i good veg will up it but not a whole lot. i've found the crosses doesn't yield any better. urkle does put off some rock hard nugs. worth the grow despite the yield.

The way to get your yield off of Purple Erkle is to let them get tall as your environment will allow and de-leaf throughout the cycle. I've yielded a lb/1000k from P.Erkle that way.

yeah the urk got phased out when gdp and the mendo purps, sr71pk came around....they're all way better yielders. I just want to get my hands on it for the nostalgia factor.
