Ziploc Containers

I am thinking of curing and storing my weed in a Ziploc Large Rectangle Container (click that to see)

I bought some at Walmart and they seem to hold a really good seal. I also think they would be easier to handle than mason jars.

Any thoughts/opinions?

I have alot of large buds I would prefer to keep intact and the mason jars will not let me do that. I am open to suggestions. I would like to store exactly 1 once per container if possible.

doesn't seal the best, the reason why you get mason jars is for the seal. I got a cookie jar from Ross, super cheap like $5. check out my sig. you can see a pic of my cookie jars, I have colas that fit in it that are like about 10 inches long. The cookie jar has a good quality seal also. I wouldn't use the ziplocs, just my preference.

My local acme sells mason jars, and you can get them at Michaels or ACmoore. I know someone who uses those ziplock containers to store weed in. It works good but, imo the jars are alot better. One cool thing(for some) about the plastic containers is that after a few days the bottom is covered in a thick layer of resin. I scrapped his with a knife one day and made finger hash with it an it was yummy!

i think the ziplock containers will work ok for "sweating" , and curing but ive herd they leave some plastic smell/taste, but IME thats unfounded.

I am going to cure most in glass mason 32oz jars, and a few in the affirmentioned ziploc containers. I will let you know the difference.
