Apollo from Dutch Passion

Hi all, I was browsing around the net 2nite when I stumbled over this in the DutchPassion homesite:

Apollo
indoors
Apollo 11 was developed by the former North American Grimm Brothers Seed Company, having a Cinderella 99 background. Apollo is a DP update of this very popular variety. Apollo has a 50% Indica en 50% Sativa background. It’s fenotype is christmastree like, as were the early (1980) Skunkvarieties. It’s yield however is considerably better. It’s an easy to grow plant, that loves moderate fertilization. This variety is 100% foolproof. The plants are stout, heavily
branched and are about 60-80 cm in height. The buds do not have a strong smell and are mold resistant. In 7 to 8 week this variety is harvest ready. An extra week could give a final flowerboost, depending on the vitality of the plant. Taste is fruty citrus/ lemonlike and the effect "heady and happy". Start the day with this variety, stay active and enjoy a happy and fullfilling day.

flowering period: 7 to 8 weeks.
harvest time outdoor: second half of Oktober.
yield: above average

items (per 10 seeds) regular edition, € 45 LTD007

It sounds to me like this here A11 has been hybridised with who knows what.
Has anyone here grown this particular incarnation of the A11? I have been trying to obtain some A11 seeds for well, years now, as long as I can recall since I began growing indoors.Needless to say, the search has so far been a fruitless one. Many opportunities have arisen since I started looking but for some reason I was always unable to place an order.Since this is the only one I can find at the moment I'd like your thoughts/experiences on this... thanks everyone! :joint:

No matter what you may think of Rezdog, he's coming out with ORIGINAL RECIPE Apollo 11 shortly. I believe the project is almost done. It's the Genius mother clone (the original A11 mom) x C99. I loved the A11 back in the day, I can't wait to try it again, from the original recipe. :)

Hey there CC!!! nice to c u round... I remember u from way back over at PS forums, wow that was ages ago. Thanks for the heads up on Rez's planned release, now all I gotta do is sit back and start saving -jokin- ok???

I believe they'll be priced pretty low, and they'll be a one-time release. Unless another breeder gets the very rare Genius clone, there may never be another original recipe offering, ever. I'm excited to grow them myself. :)

PS forums? I can't figure out where that was.

Leo ?

Now why I remember MrSoul run with our money ;)

I have grown a11 , it has a nice high but it is not very potent. I wouldnt grow it again at least in the near future but I would probably grow cindy again , but only if I had to grow a fast finisher :p

I just went through Dutch Passion's entire web site, and there's not so much as a mention of Apollo 11, and none for sale. Care to fill us in on where you got that info?

Otherwise, Apollo 11 exists in seed form and are sold dirt cheap (16 euros/$25 per pack) at www.topskud.dk
Since it's a Danish seedbank, it is generally ignored by Anglo-saxons, but some very hot genetics can be found here in F2:s.
It would be great if IC members could take note of this now, so we don't have to see another "Where can I get Apollo 11 or C99?" thread added to the dozen or so already existing.
I post this info only because these strains are not on sale at the Seedboutique. Otherwise, I think Gypsy's bandwith could be used for other things than posting pointers to his competitors.

It's good to see dutch passion come out with different edition strains. The only thing with their apollo 11 strain it is described that it's 50/50 sativa/indica, which doesn't sound like apollo 11 at all. It should be almost all sativa/haze. :headbange
