Hey guys
Well i went to amsterdam the marihuana mecca, well thats the way they call it.
So Amsterdam is a very beautifull city, its very well organized, i stayed inside the first 2 canal rings, in a hotel close to the heineken factory. (we went to the heiniken museum but it was closed, it will reopen in december they said)
The museums are very nice, the Van Gogh museum is exelent, it has over 200 paintings from him. And paintings of other artists, its in a very nice place where all the museums are, so its a great spot to meet people.
But anyways whats up in Amsterdam, well the coffee shops are amazing, (not all of them) but you can find some brutal coffee shops, i got to say i have 2 favorites, wich are Abraxas, and Dampkring. Then Green house, and Barneys both in Harleemerstraat. Also i visited Homegrown, and the Yellow Mellow.
I think i visited something else but i dont remember...
The most potent herb was in Homegrown and Yellow Mellow. The best ambience Dampkring, and Abraxas. But a great spot to smoke and have a coffee and read some are Barneys, and Green house. (THIS IS ALL MY OPINION).
Now what did i smoked, well in homegrown, NYCD

in Yellow Mellow some dark hash, i dont remember wich one, and some blueberry
in barneys chocolote haze
In green house, something strawberry. I dont remember the compleate name.
Anyways the herb is amazing, the flavour, and the potency all around is great. Probably some of you will find that the herb you grow can be better, but the cool thing here is that you have tons of diferent kinds, in all the different coffeeshops.
Also i was smoking in the street walking around, and noone said anything to me, i dont know if its legal or not, but the cops never ever said anything to me or to my friend.
What about the redlight disctrict, its very wild thats what i got to say, i imagined it more brutal but its not. The prostitutes are behind the windows, and sometimes they open the windows to talk to the people walking, but they are very respectful. Also we went to a sex show to see what a hell was that, we imagined it to be like a porn movie, but its more as a couple having sex on a stage, kissing and being tender, and people there are just drinking a beer, and smoking a cigarrete, the idea of a sex show is very rough, but in fact being there is quite light.
Now the total downside in Red light disctrict, is that there are thousends of dealers selling you coke, extasis, crack or any kind of shit you want. And they are all trying to sell it to you like if it was candy, they come to you and they start whispering "Coooke, eeextasis" but you may hear this probably at least 20 times a night, if you walk around that zone.
What about the food, well its a city that has food everywhere, all kind, and i mean all kind, from shit, to well served food. Youll find restaurants from all around the world, everywhere. So if you are in amsterdam dont worry about the food, lets say that you can eat for a few euros, or you can have a desent meal for around 20 euros, or if you want something upclass youll find reataurants that go for much more...
The party in amsterdam, is different, Well i got to say i come from a place where the party is brutal. And i was trying to find some good partys, the deal is that youll find tons of pubs, around the city, there are 2 places in wich there are los of pubs and a few discos, the pubs can get crowded, and the discos too. But the ambience is very quiet, the discos are alright, youll find out that the ratio between men and woman is strange, there are much more men than woman. But youll find some pubs that have a better ambience, and you can have a drink or 2 there.
I can say that amsterdam in an all around is a very beautifull city, with lots of freedom, its a great city if you want to go to have a smoke, and chill around. I would recomend you to go with a few friends, or with a girlfriend. So you wont get bored at night, if you want to party.
There is another coffee shop we coundt go in because we were too stoned, and we didnt want to smoke more in that moment, its called Amnesia is by the old jewish neighborhood, is more as a classy coffeeshop, and its beautifull.
Also please dont eat only hamburgers and pizzas, try the dutch food, its great.
I had a big plate of smashed potatoes, with a huge meatball, with gravy. delicious!!
And dont forget to get the Entertainment guide, it has great advises, and a handy map!! lol
