What's new

La Mula?

Q

qanabose

A fellow OG'er once endowed me with his special creation, a wonderful strain called La Mula, spanish for 'the mule,' and I ain't sure if he's still around these days but I was wondering if anyone had any info on these...

ain't been done for a couple of years...I've forgotten, just remember these were impressive amongst others, very potent and up high. So I wondered about doing these again sometime.

Anyone know anything of their flowering time? genetic make-up?
If I remember correctly, I think these might have had Uzbekistani in them.

Hi

I gues you talk about this... La Mula is C99/OT.Haze#4 x Uzbekistan and a second line to joint both includes Afghanistan/Uzbekistan instead only Uzbek.

C99Haze come from Wolfman lots in 2003. Original father selected C99Haze was a 16-18 weeks male.

Flowering weeks of present hybrid are around 10 weeks now as line is been inbred later for quickest results. Hope to be ready soon in its sixth breeding step.

best

This is very nice herb, but the Uzbeki provides the "extra-kick"
I remember an F1 La Mula plant from 2003 bearing a couple kilos of bud, easily :D

Hey Charlie!

I see you're still rollin' up to your eyeballs in good 'erb, hermano...and that's some weighty lookin' cola you got growin' on top of that plant...I recall I selected some fast end breeders to make up the beans that season. There was a bit of a racey thing going on with the smoke too. Can't wait to see these big Mommas boomin' an' bloomin' in the garden again. And many, thanx again for the fine genetics! All lookin' good!

Hey Raco,

That you're continuing this line is a great recommendation, not that Charlie needs one of course but man, that nug looks darn tight and inviting!

Now it's all comin' back to me...these were those delicious orange-smelling beasts, am I right?

well now here is a bit more temperated on effects. Flavours move on citric/pepper. Still kicks you up with energy :) We are testing also femminized version of it so hope in a very few months things are finally ready with it. Should be a big plant of big yield!

hope you enjoy your offspring. Should have nice combination abilities and vigor to inbreed further and deeper

Best wishes amigo

You've certainly been working on this line for a while now Charlie...guess you know when you're on a good thing and you stick with it until you see it through.

I can see there's going to be a lot of pleasantly surprised growers on the end of this project! I like the package, the nature of the high, its potency, the smell & flavour, not to mention its yield...

I think I would have got to have seen a lot more of the yield if I had've got to the males in time...a wee tad too late and I got a bucket full o' beans to compensate me for it I guess.

And was that over 2 kg that Raco was saying? I mean I know his scales wouldn't be likely to be that far out but phew!!! That'd be around 4.5lb which is a hell of a lot o' bud off the one plant, especially when its of this sort of quality! I suppose that's not too difficult to imagine when you think about the potential size they can grow to combined with the density of their buds.

Me thinks I better get movin' on gettin 'em in nice 'n' early this time round! Oh boy, me can hardly wait!!!
