Very nice pictures Eddie. I'm glad to see they are looking young & healthy .Where was this concert held? Really love the british reggae culture, Aswad is great among many many others. Also would like to hear Jah Tubbys massive sound, wicked that you have been there! That clip just brings the BBASSS to ones living room.
Is world war dub the one with name of dictators as track names?

Here's some britreggae that comes to my mind that has really influenced me.
Of course everything Shaka touches is golden.

sound clips in the last link of this batch only
Ranking Ann - A Slice Of English Toast(there's much good stuff on Ariwa)
Jah Shaka - Brimstone and Fire(heavy heavy dub tracks)
The Twinkle Brothers - Burden Bearer
Norman Grant Twinkle Brothers & Jah Shaka - The Right way
The Twinkle Brothers - Dub Massacre Part 1 & 2(2 first tracks booom, this album is it)

Also I have to post dub for that Time Has Come, such a nice simple rhythm.

GroovySituation, that drum sound compilation is very good!, I think pressure sounds is releasing pretty often interesting represses. Yeah, I know in youtube there's quite limited amount of music, but you can get lucky sometimes.

Are those first three clips from the Shaka dance you went to? whooaaah looks amazing!

Thanks for the Little Kirk clip, haven't seen that before, so young in that. Also funny that you brought that up. I've been planning to buy some 7'' from soundquake among couple of Little Kirk tunes(these are with bit more mature voice):

Ghetto people broke
Suffer Not the Little Ones

really like the first one. Sorry for the short clips.

GroovyS-nice clips from the Shaka sound-it is amazing how so many dances/sessions can be found online these days. KirkDavies clip is baad-i noticed that the guy on the mic with the white hat is legendary JA dj BarryG-of Rodigan clash fame. Not heard the drum sound CD-but will check for it cheers

Krepis-the Misty/Aswad bash was in Bristol harbour-then later in the evening it was Studio1 v Negus Melody-heavy weekend

http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1875
i must check the Slice of Toast LP because never heard, or heard of, it-thanks-killer Pablo vsn btw

DJ-you knows it :headbange

Try at this forum hxxp://reggaeddl.com/ - Really great stuff on it, and its huge

Had been listening to only reggae (roots, dancehall, dub etc) for the past 5 years.

Any of you going to Rototom Sunsplash (Udine, Italy) this year? Would love to meet some growers from this forum. Not so famous authors this year (last year - anthony b, sizzla, jah mason...), but atmosphere is always great
