I'm not mechanic but I would guess that your pressure plate is rubbing on the flywheel. Take it to the Toyota dealership. Expensive, but they'll fix it correctly....also, is it still under warranty?

I remember the thread that you put up when you were considering buying the toyota... everybody told you not to, and look what you went and bought. You and your dogs are hardheaded.

Although Toyota's are extremely reliable....they are also expensive to fix when they do break.

I say stick with what you know.......the Z71!

..ha yeah i and my dogs are hardheaded fuks..lol

yeah its got warrent for like 70,000 miles or 10 years...sum crazy shit like that.

i miss the Z71 GMC, but it had its drawbacks as it was only a reg. cab step side short bed.

but it could throw down in the backwoods w/ its studded mud tires.

oh my god it could go where no truk could :headbange

That's EXACTLY who I was thinking about when I wrote that!!!!

His "warrior wagon" is a 70's model I believe, but that truck is bad ass!!!

He had a different one in the earlier videos.....a tan/beige truck, but it was serious business too! :headbange

Yeah man.... I gave up the booze a good many years ago, (shit makes me crazy!) but the southern comfort kept me company a few nights. A bit sweet to drink all the time, but a good one on occasion.

My buddy has an mid 80's K5 Blazer with a 3" lift and 33's.... fukin mud dawg! I don't think that truck has ever been washed! He swears by it and loves the 350 in it....although it's hardly stock and gets about 10 mpg.

They are killer truks....though.

Edit: To stay on topic...LOL!.... Just take the 'yota to the dealer and let them do what they do. :D

Already having problems on your brand new car? Must be because you are missing the kick ass spider gear shift, haha :D

Do the three separate windshield wipers help any? Or is that just for aesthetics?

sounds stupid but just in case i would check the clutch fluid resevoir. maybe a blockage or cleaning with new fluid might help. try a good clutch bleeding that will help it engage and disengage properly..

but my guess to the chirp is metal on metal, t/o bearing

also linkage should be checked out. does it let off at the top of pedal or bottom..maybe adjustment as mentioned.

i had the bands go in my last ride and since i was in there i replaced with spec stage 1 clutch kit and new slave solenoid.

it (clutch) works normal and perfect, and it def. doesnt sound like a bearing noise...i know how to tell that.

the clutch engages pretty low (as far as the clutch pedal goes)

daisy...the spider knob is in my new truk...so i dont miss it (i bet u and tarkus will see it in person soon)

the three wipers do help (and hinder)...if this is a serious question....lol

they help in that they clean the windshield wayyyy beter than 2 wipers could.

... but clearing snow is a pain in the ass. (2 big wipers is better in this country)...but ill be down south before long......so well see how that goes.

well just in case, normally u would not hear a typical bearing noise, sometimes it can seize and cause further damage. But being a new ride and all i would not think that would happen so soon. let us know how it goes if you get her fixed up.

if it was a bearing, then it would be constant.

...like i said it only chirps when the truk is running and at idle.

i push in the clutch a tiny bit and its gone.

the clutch works perfect.

hope that helps.

my guess is that it is something minor, but never the less irritating and causeing you concern, like the one guy said the cluth probably needs adjusted. and also check the fluid and all the obvious stuff. if no cure, then take to get looked at, hell its under warranty right?? it is minor though i believe, by the way you say it engages and disengages perfectly fine.

do you "horse" on you vehicles alot, like do you hot rod them and shit. casue when people beat on a regular production car/truck and expect it to perform like one thats been worked over and tricked out, little things break or go loose. but from what i know of you, you got more smarts than to beat up on a brand new car, so i rule that out.

it prbably one of those thing where you go "oh my god thats what was casueing this noise all the time, i cant beleive how easy that was to get fixed"

does the "chirping sound like a little water pump (kind we use to flood tables and deliver water through drip irrigation, hydro pumps) when it starts to get low on water and makes that wierd sound like sucking the last bit of soda from a burger king cup??

hard to describe the sound im trying to compare it to but if you used hydro pump you know the sound, and does it sound like that??
