I know that there's a few pothead poker players here that like to play poker online every once in a while. And I'm talking about poker for money of course, because there's mostly idiots and donks that play free poker online, no offense to anybody.

Am I the only one that grabs a quick screenshot whenever you get a real monster hand ? It certainly doesn't happen often, so I'm damn sure going to try and capture it whenever it does. If anybody else has any screenshots of your own monsters, then let's see them ! Here's a few that I remembered to grab a screenshot for. I had a royal flush a few months ago, but I guess I forgot to grab that one, I blame the weed for that.

The names have been censored to protect the innocent.

NICE HANDS! I play a little poker from time to time. How do you do those screen shots? Actually playing now surfing icmag. Keeps me from playing too many hands doing other stuff. No screen shots here but I sure would like to add some if its easy to do. Won 2 tournys the other day back to back. But before that its been weeks before I even cashed so must of been a lucky day.

Thanks ! Yeah, playing poker is fun, especially when toking. I like to play large tournaments every once in a while when I have the time (1000 + people). Those take many hours to play, especially if you make it far, so it's not that often that I can join really large tournaments.

How many people total were playing those tourneys that you won ? And which site do you play on ? I'm on Full Tilt, in case anybody didn't know that from the screenshots.

I only own Macs, but taking a screenshot on them is just (Command+Shift+3 or Command+Shift+4). I'm sure that there has to be an easy way to take screenshots on Windows also.

And yeah, even good players can have a long dry spell every once in a while. Just try not to "tilt' too much during these dry & unlucky spells, and luck will return again !

I am on 8 different sites right now but I won them on Bodog and Carbon Poker with about 250 people in each tournament. Im mostly a cash player but venture into the tournaments when I have multiple hours of time to play. I love playing high too. Throw on some music and do my thing. I will have to see if taking a screen shot is the same on windows. Thanks greenery.

Kush addict you can win as much as you want really. I use www.sharkscope.com to view other people stats and my own and seen many people who have made millions. Full tilt where green plays and poker stars theres big tournaments where you can win half a million just in 1 tournament but there's alot more people per tourny there. Each site has a few different options to getting paid back. I always use the check feature and had no problems yet.

To screenshot in windows, press Print Screen, then open MS Paint and click Edit > Paste.

Those are some nice hands, beating a full house with the straight flush and the Ace high flush with quads, that dude musta been pissed.

sup greenhead, hah, nice hands! i never think about taking screenshots in the moment, the big hands don't seem big when you only scoop a few blinds in the pot. :muahaha: speaking of a big hand, i wanna hit a bad beat jackpot. :headbange

hopefully this summer i can start playing online poker a lot again. my brs have just been sitting in my accounts for well over a year :spank:. i need to play that shit or just withdraw it. ah well better to take a break than play poker when you're not really commited. have to be committed and disciplined to win consistently in poker . after two years of grinding online poker i just couldn't focus anymore. it's been a good long break, even though i suck now...i should be able to get my game back quick. i have a lot of good hand histories/video/strategy articles to share if anyone is interested.

hit me up for some sngs or something fun one night. maybe some plo micro madness. :joint: i'm on pokerstars, ultimatebet, fulltilt, and the euro network.

you got that right buzz about focusing sometimes. I can grind online poker well over 12 hours a day multiple tables at a time and when im done im so burnt out I cant even think anymore. Its super hard to win online continuously. You gotta really have alot of patience. I can tell after an hour or 2 in tournaments people pushing more as they are getting antsy. This is where i torque another bong and sink into my chair even deeper just waiting for a big one otherwise im so bored i will play anything. Im not even that good I just know the rules, position, and have the patience and discipline to get deep in tournys.

Thanks dbuzz ! You're right about taking a break instead of playing when you're not commited. No use in throwing money away ! When I feel that I'm in a slump or simply not feeling it, then I don't play either. I've made that mistake a few times before.

Yeah, patience is very important in large tournament games. I usually am doing somebody else also in the background, so I won't get too bored and antsy and make dumb moves. You can usually tell in the beginning of a tourney, who will most likely last until the money and who will not end up getting paid.

i got third in an online tourney once it was free but it was like 10,000 people i thought that was pretty cool

Of course that's cool, even though it was free. I played free games for a couple of months, before I switched over to money only. I don't play for big money, just small sums. But it makes it more interesting in my opinion.

If you played a real money game and you came in third out of 10,000 people, depending upon the prize pool, you would've won enough to buy a whole shitload of weed, or whatever you like really for the money, lol.

Any suggested online reading for brushing up on my poker skills?

twoplustwo.com

Go into the forums and look for NL strategy. It is organized pretty well.

Invest in PokerTracker software and get rakeback before you sign up for a real money account.

Basically use the twoplustwo forums for all your online poker needs.

Maybe I'll check out a few of those links myself sometime. I've never read anything on poker before. I think that the best practice and way to learn is simply to play. After hundreds or maybe a thousand games, everybody should know what they're doing and have their own methods and strategies.
