What's new

was anyone a rocky horror picture show regular??

Used to catch it at the Varsity Theater in U City back in the early 80's. Played every weekend at midnight. I wasn't a "regular" though. LOL Saw it a half dozen times maybe. The regulars dressed the part. Throwing rice, and other crazy shit. LOL

it was one of those phenomenon of the generation I admired that I was just a little to young to enjoy m (born in 67), I was always amazed at the loyal following and then one day it jsut stopped

We used to go watch it at the midnight matinée every couple weeks. Raw meat, rice, toilet paper, squirt guns, newspapers, candles, and whatever else we thought of. It's not as much fun at home with the DVD. It's better to have a Rocky Horror party at someone else's house so you don't have to clean it up afterwards.

It was a ritual we did back in 1980 in Montreal. We never dressed up but we always had a bag of goodies for tossing. We would get trashed in the park across the street from the theater on whatever booze us minors could scrounge up then hit the movie.

I use to go see it every other weekend and bring in truck loads of rice. I even wore a hard-hat for safety;)
