So due to heat issues, and me having to go away next weekend for a few days, I am trying to decide of a way to keep the heat down, and keep the cab closed...
I also want to put them on 12/12 soon, like tommorow, as i just realized i have been veggin' for a 5 weeks already, they just been through some damn stress
but anywasy for a light cycle i was thinking, 12 off, then 4 on, .5 off, 4 on, .5 off, 3 on?
Essentially 11/12? basically as long as i let them get 12 hours of strait darkness, will it fuck with them to do that during the time the lights are on? If i dont do this, i risk the cab getting near 100 degrees, due to poor ventilation...but i can prob keep that number closer to 90 with the above light cycle.... i just can't get it under control without a very loud or maybe expensive case fan? high CFM?, right now i am running like 37cfm in and out, but the cab is right next to the a/c and the room temp is normally about 70... its like it doesnt really get that much in, or actually i think its because i have a shelf and then and "empty" space above the lights in between the top of the cab?
See below:
EDIT: yes i finished the mylaring and raised the shelf up a little bit actually since taking that pic weeks ago.
anyone have any ideas on cooling it better? I tried the fan blowing the exhause both sitting ontop of that shelf, above like 6 holes i drilled, and also instead of that i just put it in the very back right top corner, blowing out, but i dont think it made enough pressure to suck the air up or somethin?
edit: on a positive note, they are very healthy and have been stable at about 86-88 degrees for the past 4 days.
