Day 100

Day 100

Flower Day 55

And now we start to flush. No more nutrients, and estimated harvest between 15-20 days from now. A few of the bag seed phenos could use more time, and this is why it's a pain in the ass to not grow all the same strain.

And all anyone cares about, the pics;

This bud is so fat it just fell over. I feel like leaving it this way.

A few other buds also fell over, but I tied them all back up.

Lots of skill there!!!!
Very nicely done. I like the jungle effect. Those plants look like a lot of outdoor herb. Tall healthy and happy. I think the longer veg worked out for you. Maybe not quite as long next time, eh?

I've noticed that about CMH, interesting huh?

Looks beautiful man! So healthy and happy.

Thanks for the replies!

Yeah I will definitely grow shorter next time, I would prefer a more even canopy. (like simple word) I will use a Scrog type method, and I will start that with my clones in about 1 month from now.

Yes, the CMH is freakin awesome in Veg, but even to HPS in Flower. For size of buds, the HPS is just as good IMO.

I have been trying to get across to folks that the yield between HPS and CMH should differ little (same wattage). Some growers will get more yield with CMH some will get a little less. There are many other factors that determine that and I think one is adjusting to the "outdoor" qualities brought on by the full spectrum. Ie tight nodes, insane root growth, FAST veg, higher nute requirements and so on. You can yield more with the CMH (in my experience) from a smaller plant as there will be more budsites per inch (or foot in your case LOL). But, if you get carried away and let that veg go nuts under the CMH you will have some huge plants going 12/12 and then other things like spacing and root bound issues can bite you in the ass. It is like anything else, you must adjust.

That all being said, the health, vigour, taste, smell and trich production will be better with the CMH. That tips the scale for me!

Grows like yours only happen when the grower/hobbiest knows what they are doing, no matter what light they use. So, again NICE FREAKING JOB!!!!!!

Ill post some pics tonight. I went to a music festival over the weekend and when i came back one of the plants fell almost all the way over. No real damage done, but I had to tie up 3 different plants to get them back to normal. The trichs are about 80% coudy, 20% clear. Its about day 62 or something, and it looks like they can go another 20 days, gees this is a long flowering pheno. Also, I started flushing last week. They will probably get 3 weeks of flush, oh well.

Things are really starting to smell fruity. Still, not many amber trichs, im not sure how long this will take.

On my last grow it took a lot longer than I thought it would for the amber trichs to appear. I'm not sure if this was because of the CMH or what, but the plants kept packing on weight so I didn't worry about it. When I finally got to about 40% amber and 3 weeks of flushing the plants were still mostly green so I said fuck it and chopped. :D

u would have gotten twice the yeild with the same wattage on hps bulbs and with that same number of plants .. and with hydro well lets just say u would have not been able to get past the door it would have been so thick with that many plants ..

but yeh for what u have it looks like u maxed it out .. good job man ..

oh yeh i think iread somewhere that some strains dont mature fast at all under cfl sometime 20days or so longer ..

peez ..

Twice the yield with HPS is laughable!!!! Micro is not using flouros. Wow, do you have a lot of learning to do if you are making that kind of statement. The quality of the end product would not be as good under HPS either. :joint:

I just read the entire thread and all i can say is WOW! :respect:

I cant help but wonder what the vertical cmh would have done to better this?
By the looks of the grow, it seems optimal tho.

Any input from anyone on whether vertical would have improved this??
