anyone know if the "elite" stash box really cures

Hey does anyone have the elite stash box by gypsy nirvana?

supposedly it cures the buds and keeps them fresh

anyone got one? im looking to purchase it just cant find any feedback from it anywhere tryin to figure out if it really cures the buds or just stores them in a fresh box

I like the idea. :wave:

My impression of curing is to let the dried bud basically sit (enclosed) for a period of time. The box should work for that. As long as its not too wet when you put it in there and you will have to tend to it everyday to monitor the humidity level. Just have to manually open if the humidity gets to high.
The description states that it has a pressure gauge, but a hygrometer would be what it should be. Typo?

Humidors are the way to go if you like your bud at a certain moisture level instead of over dried.

Looks like one to me. Best way to go IMO, although I would prefer to make my own.

The Box Looks Nice....How Much is it???....Wonder if it really works.....Prolly have to tweek with it and Monitor it to make sure it dont fuck up your buds.....~ogr

I wonder why they stopped making gypsy boxes. they were clearly the best. the elite box was the best idea ever to. being able to cure your bud in a box with a humidifier

Cigar humidors are made to maintain 68%-75% humidity. That seems high to me, would that be ok for buds?

Does seem quite high for buds.

You can probably ask a cigar forum how to change a humidor's RH setting by changing the % of water to whatever chemical goes inside the sponge. I think I remember discussing this in a thread or two some time back, but I can't remember what the thread was about...

68-75% is ideal. The upper range is a little wet for me to roll, but I mainly use a pipe. The lower end is better for me to roll joints . I still need scissors to cut up because a grinder would never work at those rh numbers. If you like to grind your weed or use your fingers to break it up then I suggest below 50% rh, but quality begins to suffer.

I love when you can tell the weed is moist, seems much more flavorful. I've always overdried mine, hopefully I won't this next time around :badday:

I also feel like most cigar humidors I've seen have a felt type of lining, which wouldn't be conducive to collecting trichs. :joint:

I looked at all the ones my local cigar shop had, nothing looked anywhere near as useful as the stash boxes I've seen on Seedbay. Hoping to add a quality stash box to my collection one day. :wave:

I got ahold of the people at the stash-box.com site i guess they said they werent selling them anymore. im hoping gypsy as some old ones left over. i like the old design way better then the new one. its so hard to get ahold of gypsy though i keep getting my emails sent back to me from the mail sender

The bubblebag one is sweet but its not big enough. i liked those long versions gypsy had more then the new ones with the two screens side by sidfe
