In a hot and humid climate (80F+, 45%), in regards to security and temperature, which of these is the best place to have a grow? I plan on having a non-air conditioned grow, with a lot of ventilation. I also plan on using approximately 1000 watts of lighting (cmh bulbs, if it makes a difference).
A) Multi-story apartment or single story condo?
B) Walk-in closet or Utility room?

In a closet, I would have a problem of ventilation (where to intake and exhaust air from/to). I could do it through the door, but that means I cannot have visitors.
In a utility room, I would also have a ventilation problem. I thought of using the dryer ducting that leads outside for intake or exhaust, but am afraid the ducting is too narrow (it's 4", right?). Also, the end of the ducting leading outside has a cap that restricts flow (to prevent rain from getting in the duct). For these reasons, I feel the dryer duct may not be practical. With that said, what do I do about ventilation?

In a Multi-story Apartment/Condo, odor cannot be traced to a specific unit, but I have to mask the sound of two 6" inline centrifugal fans, among other things. This can be partially dealt with using insulation, but to what extent I am unsure.
In a single floor condo, odor can be traced to you, but you would not have to concern yourself with sound as much. Are there any security concerns I am leaving out? In a single floor condo with an attic, I could exhaust air to the attic, which would solve half of my ventilation problem.
