Brown spots on fan leafs

Noticed brown spots on the upper fan leafs on one of my himmies, i'll get some photos on later. Two weeks into bloom cycle. Only feeding Iguana juice Bloom and Big bud ATM. Any idea what it could be?

The top leafes of my LS are curling downwards quite badly, the condition of the plants seem quite good, just wondering if it could be a heat problem??

We just noticed some rusty red spots on the lower fan leaf of this otherwise healthy plant



We assumed that the plant is overgrowing its 3ltr pot,, and that the soil mix is off balance for the metabolism of the plant. To correct this we just started feeding atami micro nutrients,, alongside a nitrogen based fertilizer.

Iguana Juice bloom is high in Nitrogen for a bloom feed,, and has plenty of calcites and minerals... alpha-alpha, guano,,,,




What soil / substrate are you growing in ?

Also what are your day vs night time temps saying?

The water comes direct from the cold tap indoors :wink:
The soil is a mix ,, cheap compost, some 2nd hand coco fibre

Otherwise the plant is heathly green,,,

I would try adding some cal mag or sensi cal, because to me it looks like a small very small micronute issue........

I've tried to answer the best i can. As you can guess, I'm complete newcomer to this game, so if it appers that my growing methods are fucked up then any advice would be appreciated. I'll try and get photos of my grow on later.

What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?) - Seed
What is the age of your plants? - 7 weeks
How Tall are the plants? - 24 Inch
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? - Flower
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) - ??
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) - 14 Litre pots, 1 plant per potWhat substrate/medium are you using? - Soil What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) - Using Plagron All-Mix, no idea about perlite percentageWhat Nutrient's are you using?How much of each with how much water? How Often? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* - Using Advanced Nutrients, Iguana juice bloom and Big bud. Ig juice = 3.5ml per litre of water, BB = 5ml per litre. What does this do??

It gives the plant a boost of magnesium sulfate, and does it MUCH safer than feeding epsom salts in the fert solution. But often rusty reddish-brown spotting is a potassium issue rather than a Mg one. I like to fix my micronute issues with a foliar of the GH Micro from teh 3-part, or if it's obviously K, with a potassium rich complete fertilizer.

Make sure you solve the problem, not jsut treat the symptoms.
