Micheal scott is a lovable freak!
all in all, I wouldn't mind if he were my boss.
The Oceanic 6 return to the "Real" world this week!

The universe orchestrates what seems to be an absurdly complex string of coincidences and interconnectedness between characters in order to create the right set of variables for that plane to crash on the island and those people to inadvertently destroy the time machine and put the world back on its course for destruction.
This concept of “course correction” as a plot device is, in my opinion, a brilliant tool for the writers of the show. It allows them to weave an intricate network of plot elements that seem ridiculously impossible and complex, but all those otherwise unexplainable loose ends can be tied together in the form of universal course correction.

That doesn't change the fact that television is complete crap. Honestly I do not like watching Lost all that much, because it's too long-winded. I regret "getting into" the show in the first place.
7 years ago i had the same impression, television sucks. which is just a stereotype. the quality of tv shows in the last 5-6 years, has sky rocketed. people who say tv sucks is ignorant. i mean, you did say you've -never- kept up with a show, so how would you know?
T.V. has a dumbing-down effect. I am proudly "ignorant" of the new, seemingly awesome shows that you rave about.
imo i would rather watch a great tv series, before a great movie. it's all about character development, and longevity. that's what a good story needs.
Great TV-series before a great movie? Don't TV-series "seasons" generally last 8-16 episodes? Great movies generally last 2 hours. If it takes 10 hours of TV for proper "character development", then I'll pass. If my main interest was character development, then I would spend 10 hours reading a great book instead. At least then you are exercising your mind, rather than keeping it in "neutral".
it's funny the same guys who say television sucks have probably seen a lot of movies. what's the difference? have fun watching 70% of the shitty azz movies they put out these days. meanwhile, i'll enjoy some epic series.
I've seen a lot of shitty movies, so now I try and choose wisely. Also try watching decent "new" movies like Into the Wild-or-Peaceful Warrior instead of the new James Bond-or-Die Hard III. By the way, Lost & The Office isn't my idea of an "epic series". Max Headroom is a series that falls into the "epic" category, in my opinion.
and for the record, i don't even use my tv, or "watch tv all day." i watch it on my computer. the internet will eventually take over tvs. it isn't so bad without channel surfing and commercials. fuk cable tv. pirate for lyfe.
now on topic,
the office finale was so good. i was lol'ing mega hard. great performances by everyone. long live michael scott. i don't even know who steve carell is anymore, he's just michael scott to me.
and lost has been aight. i was a big fan for season 1 but it's gone downhill. it's the most unorganized story evar. scatter brained script. doesn't mean it's not entertaining though.
/rant over and out.
