I use to keep my seeds in a cigar box in a desk. For the seeds that were stored in there for a bit, it didn't seem to effect the germ rates. Now I keep them in a tupperware container w/rice in my fridge.

I all ways put mine in little paper envelopes that I make I'm not sure if that helps but I know most seed you buy comes in paper envelopes (not pot seed that you buy tomatoes & such ) . I think the idea is to keep them dry lol

fridge in envelopes with rice.... got paranoid about the fridge temp though.. its now in a cool room under the staircase

I've stored mine in breeder packs in a ziploc in the FREEZER for YEARS, and it's NEVER affected my germ rates, which are always close to 100%. Anyone wanna tell me I've got it twisted?

A special box that was used for storing tea bags in. Wooden box, with 20 separate compartments, each strain has its own space. I keep that box in a cupboard

Well Mine are stored at a safe location with no grow at all. I have to buy a frig to store them in. I got one with lots of crisper fresh veg space. Well over 200 strains.

I would be devastated if lost, so a very safe storage location. Even has a back up power :)

In a french hermetic jar with an airtight bail-and-seal, rice, and seeds in whatever pack I got them in. Placed in the back of the fridge near the cold air intake.

What I understand is the freezer is fine AS LONG as the seed has a low moisture content. The more moisture in it the greater the chance of ruptured cell walls as the moisture expands when freezing......lowering seed vitality
