here is how HTG describes tent. notice 2 different materials, only they say it's PVC when it's really polyamide:

This is a multi-purpose indoor growing chamber. The exterior "skin" is made of super heavy-duty black ballistic nylon lined on the inside with highly reflective weather proof ultra-white pvc plastic. The "skin" also features commercial grade oversized sewn in zippers for easy installation and easy access to your garden.

believe whatever u wish:)
as long as my plants are not yellowing i really don't care what it's made of.

Keep digging yourself into a deeper hole if you'd like.

Again, Nylon and Polyamide are the same thing.. Nylon is just another name for Polyamide. Look it up so you don't keep making a fool of yourself.

The inside of the HTG tents are PVC, just like the guy who sells them says. The outside is Nylon, which again, for your thick melon, is the same thing as Polyamide.

Actually, Mr. Bongjangles is correct. I double checked and the outside is nylon/polyamide and the inside IS PVC.

Oh, I just noticed your name Mr. Bongjangles, I thought it was Mr. Bojangles the whole time!

I'm finishing up my 4th grow in my HydroHut Mini(39x39x78). I'm lucky I guess. I haven't had any problems. I think grow tents are the cats ass for apartment growers like myself. They keep everything contained and neat.

i think its a case of the 1st ones were made with good material-then they found they could make extra profit if they used PVC instead of PE for the inner layer..... hopefully theyll go back to the good stuff

Hi Daemon:

Thanks!

They are still going. The one on the right is finishing week 10 and the left one is finishing week 11. I have a third one, not shown that stays in front that is week 10 also. The right one will probably go at least 100 days the way it looks now.

Thanks!. All three are still in flower. One going on week 13, the left one in the pic above. The other two are going on week 12. The one on the right in the above pic will probably go 100+ days. She is still far from done. She is a really nice plant!!

Just checked HTG website and it says their tents DO contain PVC. Hmmmm...my tents have been working for more than 1 year so go figure.
