working bubblebags with small amounts

So I got the 8 bag 1 gallon and 7 grams of mids.
Theoretically i should be able to get a .7 gram ball with the 10 percent rule of thumb right?

My question is, am I right. Not just theory but in actuality will i be able to get the full .7 from the bags or would i loose like .1 per bag and end up with nothing?
what would be the best way to collect every bit of it and im assuming i would not be using the full 8 bags for this small of an amount.

whats you think?

OK I'll bite, though this isn't the news anyone wants to hear

No way will you get 10% return, unless you happen to have the most magically awesome trich covered midgrade in the world.

Dunno where this 10% rule came from (although years ago I based my initial expectations around it, so it is out there) but it is likely for dried high-quality trim or buds.. Not a likely ratio for midgrade or wet trim, which overall has much less trichs to be extracted in a given amount of weight.

I seriously predict 0.2-0.5 grams tops, unless you throw in barely potent material from the 120 or 160 bag, which you definitely don't want to do.

Your best bet with such a small amount would be to leave out the 70 and 90 bags, so you catch most of their product in the 45 bag, and then get whatever else (broken trich heads etc) in the 25 bag. That way you at least get enough to scrape out of there, as small amounts can get rubbed right into the screen as you scrape them into a pile.

get more product of decent quality if you want to make a run worthwhile with this methodology, otherwise go to another means of condensing the goodness.

I noted this problem in another thread as being one of the issues that makes butane extraction a more appealing method for obtaining concentrates. shit you can easily make a gram of BHO with a quarter of good bud...

i was wonderin about those 1 gal bags, can you get enuf stuff in there with the ice and all to hope to get yield worthy of shellin out for the 8 bag kit? 1 gal is kinda small.

Yeah, I wish I'd gotten the bigger kit in the end. I'll get one eventually.

You can run about a half ounce worth of material at a time.

You'll get a nice little chunk of bubblehash though.. Enough to get you good and high a few times especially if you're not used to smoking bubble.

Yeah, I have gotten some decent stuff out of the 120 bag before, though never as good as the 45 for me.. Regardless, good point, and I should have been more cautious in my phrasing.

well, could be ok. if youre just lookin for a treat once in a while the small bags have one thing on the bigger ones, theyre easy to handle. as you get bigger it gets more of that wheelbarow and sac o' concrete feel to it

dry sieve it...... the bags are useless for small amounts wet. you will get better flavour and the same quality imo dry shaking with the bags.

how does throwing all 8 bags in there putting slightly broken up stuff on top of the 220 throwing a lid on and shaking side to side sound?
