Well I thought where to post this grow diary either here in micro or in hydro since this is going to be a small grow, in a small cabinet, in small "bubble" containers(each one is 2.4L) I thought the micro forum is the place so here goes.


This grow will be nirvana pappya 3 seedlings just popped there little heads out of the rockwool this pm yey!!!! So into the cab the went.











The cab is rough and still needs some finishing up,mylar and to fix up the venting better this weekend. other then that it's working great. Gonna veg on 24/0 for a couple weeks then switch to 12/12 and take clones to find a good mom. Eventually I want this to be a scrog cab with it full of clones!!!!!! Well like I said this is a test run so come along for the ride and lets see what happens.. BTW there's 270watts of cfl's 5 27w "daylight" and 5 27 watt reg cfl bulbs.

no only takes a gallon to fill all three containers(the cab is located in the master bath) so pretty quick and the cab is pvc it's a garage cabinet very light weight so easy to move if I wanted to. Pretty cheap too only 35$.

Yeah that is such a tight wee box you have there, just what i will prolly go for when i get my shit together. I think thoes pots were about the size of Pipedream's setup. And he had great micro results.

Is it pretty much a stealth box?

Is that 10 42w cfls?? This grow looks like it's going to turn out pretty well. What are your current temps without plants in the cab with all those lights?

Excellent work! I just bought an air pump yesterday but I have a lot of reading to do first. Is that other plant in there a bromeliad?

I use that same cabinet to hold all my grow supplies next to my grow room!

One week!!!

One week!!!

So here's the update for the first week.

I added a 70w hps and ordered these to replace all the cfl's in there now.

as far as the pappya babies there doing fine just checked them a bit ago and have the tap root popping out on two so far but all are growing good.







So far so good, I just ordered these (FEM seeds) so I can have some mom's and just go with straight clones the next run, gotta find a pappya mom and all will be good then.

Well off to the pet store for some more stuff too keep three mom's and a bubble cloner looking foward to peoples feedback.

P.S.
Anyone keep hydro mom's and how's that working for ya? that's my plan just wondering if dirt might be easier gonna try banzi mom hydro style I think lol.

Lookin' nice! I'm a big fan of mini DWC/SWC units myself
The only pain in the arse with them is the constant need for daily PH balancing since those bubbling air stones and tiny water capacity result in massive PH fluctuations in pretty short order. Some people never have PH problems even in the smallest bubblers though, so it must depend on your water and nutrients I'm guessing (I use R/O water with PBP nutes).
Pretty simple to fix though, just get some Earth Juice natural PH down and just drop about 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water into your res every day (so about 1/8th teaspoon per bubbler for you) and that'll keep your plants nice and happy


Anyhoo, enough of my babbling! You're off to a great looking start mate, I think you'll like the results you get from the 70w HPS too. I'll be watchin'

Thanx Mr. micro I haven't had any ph prob's as of yet. I'm using 1/4tsp floranova grow, 1/4tsp floranova bloom, 1/2tsp liquid karma, and one drop of superthrive per gallon and have to ph down a tad after that I try to keep it around 6 and seem's to work good. Again thanx and glad your watchin.

Well I finished up the box today very happy with the light's and the temp's. Also my seed's came so soon I'll have some ministry of cannabis white widow and also northren light's. Both are feminisied so they will be used for mom's so it will be a while b4 I can get any clippings. Started a seed each today just need one of each so I'm excited for that. also seed boutique sent me some skunkmans t*haze x skunk1 freebies so I am germing one of those also so let's hope she's a female......

Well the pappya girl's are doing great very nice root's and and just growing nice and fast. Gonna switch them to 18-6 later tonight they've been on 24-0 so I'm hoping that will give me bit of a stretch so I can get clippings for clones soon. Well here's a bunch of pic's just gonna post them all in a bunch.

Well a little update.. Today the ww lady popped her head out so I'm happy as hell. I'ts nice knowing she is a girl and gonna be well worth paying for the fem seed's can't wait to get some clipping's to flower from her. The NL has yet to sprout but I'm hoping that tomorrow morning she'll be up... The pappya's are doing great the drink like crazy watering every day(small containers will make ya have to do that) but there 6ft away from the tub so no worries on the watering. well I'll post pics tomorrow if the option works then..

Uh you worried me when you said you got fem. seeds to find a mother. Do not take clones from fem. plants; you´re gonna get hermies!

I think I'm gonna take my chances I haven't heard anything about that. I'll do some more research but I never heard of hermies from fem seed mothers. I personally have only gotten hermies from light leak's during flowering and I believe stress can also cause a plant to herm, also this is a first time buying fem seeds so I just assumed that clones are exact replicas of the mother and if the mother doesn't herm then how could a clone? So I'm gonna stick to using the NL and WW plants as mom's. Thanks though Strider.

5 Day's 12/12

So started 12/12 5 day's ago and took clones three, no sign's of sex but I have two cuttings from each plant in my newly made bubble cloner which seem's to be working great so far no wilting and all the cut's seem perky. I haven't had much luck in the past with cloning but this bubble cloner seem's to be doing better then my past try's. well here are some pics.






Here's the WW mom and the NL mom can't wait to get cut's from them I know there is a chance of hermie's from the fem seed's and that I should of grown all of the seed's to find the best one but I am kinda new to this cloning thing and also really cheap lol, so If not this one maybe the next one is the one that's "the best" in the pack but I'll still have cut's to flower of better weed then I'm buying now




The t*hazeXskunk1 just started showing today(like a week) I'll post a pic when there's more to show. Well Gotta go smoke then get ready for work. Till next update
