I keep hearing the discontent among the right side of the spectrum and that's because many conservatives believe in principles that Bush has violated. They also feel as embarrassed by him when he smirks at the wrong time or whatever. He is one lousy diplomat and as he says, "I am a redneck". He can be kinda cute at times and i doubt he is stupid either.

He won't win though. I have liked Kerry a long time but then again I like the Kennedys too. Love you Gunny and I respect your true heart. I too am a conservative on many issues. BOG

I agree with ya Gunny, Kerry has always been one to change his stance on something. As for Bush, the problem lies in the fact that he's basiclly a puppet for his administration. His father def still has some say in what goes on, and they always say that the most dangerous people are the ones you never hear about. We'll have to wait and see what Bush does to the economy from now until election time, a good economy = happy americans

I'm sure Ron has already been forgotten . But I'm in one of those states that hasn't had primaries yet and I'll be damn sure to vote for Clinton . Then come November cast my vote for either Libertarian or possibly McCain if Romney ends up with VP nomination . Sorry guys as much as I want herb to be legal , our economy is far more important and Romney's track record as a businessman is very respectable . Obama hasn't got a fucking clue on how the economy works or middle eastern politics . Obama's doin nothing more than selling snake-oil to the American people . At best he'll be a lame duck .

I'll probably write in "not them". There's not a single person left running that I would piss on if they were on fire. I'll probaby focus more on local level people, along with senate/congressional races. The best we can hope for out of the 3 stooges is a lame duck presidency.

I'm pretty sure that no matter who wins, we really lose. I find this latest batch of candidates to be especially weak. If this is seriously the best we have to offer, I fear the worst. It's going to take a lot to get this economy back in shape and in almost every other aspect our country is suffering (war on drugs, immigration, health care, education, foreign policy, upholding constitutional law, etc.) It's going to have to be something major and I just don't see any of these candidates getting it done.

If Nader gets on the ballot, then he's got my vote. I know everyone thinks he has no chance but even if he gets a higher % than last time that says something to the big corporate party duopoly system. I encourage all of you to atleast hear the man speak he's a genius. If you value true democracy and what is right for our country you'll vote for him.
