Day 81 here of 12/12....Let's bring on the show

I suppose I could have let her go longer. All the trichs are pure clouded. I've noticed some strains never turn amber though. The pistils up top on the main cola still never matured Oh well...just pistils.
She's been spittin out nanners since the day 30-40 mark and gettin worse towards the end. I've heard others always getting nanners with Mumbles, but I'm sure my cold conditions didn't help. We'll try her anoter round and see what happens anyhow.
After starting to flush out...I noticed she flushed quickly and then just let the leaves die. Seems like a plant that would almost like nutes right up till the end.
When shaken she had barely any aroma...maybe just a "green" scent. Almost like grass trimmings. Once I picked some popcorn buds apart with my fingers I could smell a nice peppery scent. Reminded me a tad of Jack Herer
I have a clone of her ready to go, and a mother plant about to become bonsai'd.

Some nice chunky bats of bud I ended with She looks to be a tad fluffy, but I think I'll be amply satisfied withe the weight. The smoke is more important anyhow

Been awhile since I've done a proper update amidst harvest time here. We still gotta keep track of what is going on in the perpetual grow here though

Temps are perfect now...wish it could stay like this all year

Veg Cab

2 Mumbles in the back. 1 will become bonsai mama and the other goes into flower when AfgooXStrawD is done.
Rooted clones are AfgooeyXStrawD lefta and White Widow right. I plan on dropping a few Pollen Chuck beans as well.
It's awesome that I can achieve 100% results with cloning now in 7 days or less

White Widow Nuggery

The test taster from the popcorn nugs was everything I expected from the Widow I also took another taste test when I jarred. Taste and aroma were nothing special. Pretty common actually. The effects were full throttle though

I enjoy it already.
I ended up with 29G's which is alot more than I figured. Them are some good tight nugs and they dried with the perfect amount of sponginess.
I am excited about how my first plant from the first run in the new cab went I'm very glad I have another plant to back this one up. I can't see myself getting sick of this potent medicine anytime soon.

That Cindy Williams cross I've messed with grows just like that...
like the bud stems don't seem to stop growing during flower through till the end and create those type fox tails..rather than calyx stacking fox tails..

That CW is kinda peppery as well..
I've always believed it was the C99 influencing this trait..rather than the Williams Wonder..
Not up on Mumbles..just wonder if one of the two was involved in breeding..

Here was one of the CW's at about 40 days F..similar stem stacking..adding the Angel Dust strain really helped..but didn't stop this trait..

Your mumbles looks similar..but more dense..

I have the clone to go the next round and also a mother plant of her...so if you need any cuts, just pop by :wink: I will determine after the next round (and a round of smoke testing ) if the hermi traits were stress induced or genetic and if it's worth keeping the plant.
Can't wait to do the quick dry taste tester on this one

I think I remember that grow Bud pics are like porn pics, once you've seen them once...meh I think I remember you complaining about quantity on that one. I definately do see the similarities. Mumbles did pack on more weight it seems though. I shure there will be an airiness to her dried out form though.

Here's the write up on PPP - Power Plant (mostly Sativa) was developed in 1997 from new South African genetics. This strain has been inbred only, never hybridized. Very rich in THC. It is a strain with an enormous grow potential. Indoor as well as in a greenhouse the plants have an enormous yield. Indoors flowering starts already one week after turning back the light cycle to 12 hours. Outdoor flowering starts late, but the plants ripen very fast. This variety is very uniform. Strong up high, very soft smoke.
Definately seeing the similarities you speak of though

I usually like "quick drying" the popcorn buds on the back of my pc exhaust, but thanks to employing your tipping method, it leaves me with very few samples Thats ok though...I prefer the weight at the top of the cola where it belongs I do have enough to roll me one once dried, that'll hold me off till I taste one when they go in to be jarred.
I too am proud of the cabs first run. Let's see how it reacts to summer now

I like the tops of those mumbles, glance at your thread pretty regularly, so it's nice to see how things vary crop to crop..

I had a plant do the same thing, but mine was more accidental, I kept her too close to the light during the start of flowering, so the top got a little heat stressed, when I moved it further away, it was almost like I had topped the cola

I wish I had a better photo than this.

Trimming on Mumbles was a breeze. Literally took my 5-10 minutes. There was very little leaf left. I do see what you mean...trimming in the cola because of the foxtails, and lack of frost on leaves, but it ended up being very easy on me

It always takes me a few months to get around to the smoke reports, but that'll just give you incentive to hang around here and smoke more ganja
