very nice waterfarmfan, I also am runing the water farm 8 buckets.. I have ak47 x with supersilver haze... they are doing incredible.. the waterfarm is flawless , no leaks, and it feeds the plants on it's own... I just add solution and it does the rest! I am using 3 parts flora series and have added liquid kool bloom and floralicious , along with foliar feeding with the floralicious which has done wonders for mass and resin build up. Your plants have gone up while mine went wide, my shade leaves were about 3 inches wide , this is the record according to the supersilver haze cannabis cup winners of 96 97'. anyway the waterfarms are excellent for beginners and advanced growers. Can't think of a reason NOT to use them. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Day 84 Flowering - 12 Weeks

CHOP TIME FOR THE MAIN COLAS!!!!!

I took the top two feet of the canopy, which was 24 colas.

It took 3 of us about 4 hours to trim. We got some very nice sissor hash - that is always a bonus of trimming.

Day 86 Flowering

I am letting the plants go another 2-3 weeks to fatten up the lower buds. Since I grow trees in a smaller space, the lower buds do not get as much light even with a 1k Hortilux and Silver Star reflector.

I drained the system (been flushing for 7 days) and added the following nutes per gallon:

6 ml Flora Micro
20 ml Flora Bloom
2.5 ml PH Down

There is still alot of bud to be harvested. The canopy is about 4 feet and lowered the light as well. Here are a few pics:

75% Harvested

Well, I thought I would post an update. I am harvesting the grow in 4 stages. I just cut the third stage today and I am letting the remainder go another 5 days.

The first stage, which is shown hanging above yielded 13 oz dried. Second stage should yield about 8 oz, the third about 6 oz and the last about 4oz. That would be 31 oz - just shy of the target 2lbs.

I will post a final weight once everything has finished drying.

Smoke Report

The smoke at this stage (just begining its jar cure) is still quite strong and flavorful. It has some lemony undertones. It will only get better with age...

Next Grow

I have 11 Afghani x Blueberry babies about three weeks into veg that are ready to go for the next grow. I created a thread about the changes to my grow room:

I wouldn't veg more than a week with those sativas.
Did you gain weight with that harvest delayed in stages ?
I tried this once but was disapointed with the results seemed that the lower buds couldn't take that much light and that they needed time to adapt to new conditions ,thus taking to much time for this to be profitable.
Did you ever consider growing vertically ?
This way you might be able to harvest all at once.

Sweet job!! Those WF buckets are so cool lol. You can really grow some trees in those. I bet that smoke was good. I just pulled 6 Permafrost ladies. Very tastie 70 days or so.Well Great job!!
