Nirvana's Northern Lights Pure Indica Lineage

I have some Nirvana Northern Lights Pure Indica beans I am planning on growing and I am just sitting here wondering about these genetics. Does anyone know where Nirvana got the genetics from? I also noticed Nirvana sells just Northern Lights and was wondering what the difference is genetically between the two?

Also if anyone here has grown the pure inidca version out that I have I was hoping they might be so kind as to describe their experience with it? I am particularly interested in the high and how it smells and tastes.

no idea, but i'd image they're a knockoff of someone else's NL beans, as most of nirvana's stuff seems to be.

supposed to be a good plant, though, give us some pictures when you're done

la resistance thanks for the reply. I will post a grow report after I finish growing these next fall.

I sure wish Nirvana would post a little more detail about their strains, it can be frustrating at times. For example with the "Northern Lights Pure Inidca" that I have, from my understanding none of the original Northern Lights were pure Indica. So if this is a knockoff strain how can they call it pure Inidca. Makes very little sense to me. Seems Nirvana is starting to get a little stagnant, I think they need some competition, there is nothing like a good competitor to kick you in the arse. Mandala was doing a fine job until they stopped letting resellers sell their seeds.

nite,
Thanks for your thoughts. Ahhh the old Nirvana uses skunk genetics with the original to create a knockoff. Well skunk has sativa genetics so how can they call it Northern Lights Pure Indica then?

Alot call thing's pure this pure that but when you look into things there hardly ever pure, like NL which is suposed to be pure indica when in fact its a afghani x thai or thai x afghani and only the indica pheno's get inbreed or BX'ed to the afghani side until theres hardly a trait left from the thai side of NL.
