Outdoor coco in the tropics ak47 n skunk

R

Hi I vegged these indoors for a few weeks and have put them outside to flower. They are in 75 liter pots.

I cant remember what skunk it is but the ak's are probably f2's which i got from marijuana-seeds.nl .

I have hidden them out in bushland and pulled my vegg room down cause there has been allot of heat around (the bacon kind) .

I carry the nutes out, premixed in 20 liter containers. Thats it!

Cheers

Looking bushy and beautiful! I'm contemplating an outdoor run in Coco and your pics are very convincing. Might i ask what nutes your using? And have you encountered any problems growing with coco outdoors as opposed to soil outdoors?
Woah, did i read right, 75 liters? Thats a huge pot!

Hi evlme.

The coco is canna .I'm using Cana vega a+b for veg and fulvic acid. For flower Im using dutchmaster advance, fulvic acid and mega bud (pk 23-29).

Growing coco outdoors can be more work than soil because the plants uptake more water/nutes faster than soil which is a good thing cause you get much bigger, tighter buds. An automated watering system would save you work. But coco is far better than soil and the only real problems I have encountered is heavy rain.

The sun is very strong here and i reckon its best to lower the nute strength a little. Your plants will tell you this anyway.

My last grow consisted of 45 liter pots, vegging to 2 feet and putting them outside to flower. They sucked up 9 liters of nutes every 1.5 days during flower. I got 10 ounces of each one. SO Having 75L pots saves me from watering all the time but they still dry out every couple of days. The skunks have been vegged a little longer than previous plants also. I'm kinda hoping to hit the 1lb mark for the skunks. I guess we'll see.

This is my first year with coco outdoors, I don't get full sunlight, but I am trying to flower some bigger girls like this Sour D ibl, I think shell be great!

Your's looks really awesome, huge man!! I know what you mean about the watering all the time but it's worth it just like you said too!! Get to feed them whenever you want, and flush easily too! I love coco indoors and out. I just harvested some ecsd outdoor in coco and it was pretty good to say the least! I'll be watching this one, Good luck! PEACE

Looking great man!

Just out of curiosity, is the coco drying out fast? I would imagine it would dry out quicker then something like... say peat or compost.

Ahhh rat you bastard, your way too ahead of me. I'm surprised the plants haven't molded since you said you were in the tropics. I'm not trying to jinx you by any means! I wish you a lot of luck in the future.

PS. I like the strain selection :joint:

Ok the skunks have started to put on a little weight now.

My friend tells me its the Skunk #1 (sensi) Indica pheno but I'm not sure. Any way they're powering so I'm real happy. Very hardy strain what ever it is.

The ak has seemed slow to finish and I've decided to chop. She's now on water with a tad of mollasses to sweeten her a little. Never used it before so we'll see. She's fucken stinky and when the winds right you can smell her from 50 meters away, a real heavy smell. Some catterpillars to speak of also. They get right into the buds and Ive had to cut some mold out of them due to to them getting in there and shitting everywhere. Very hard compact buds too that fucken reek!

So there you go. The weather has been perfect up here with only a couple of cloudy days, great for this method.

Cheers for the replies dudes

Thanks guys.

Took some more pics tonight at 6.5 weeks.

Turns out that the skunk is the skunk#1 sativa pheno so I may not keep it but they are motoring along despite being swarmed by catterpillars which I'm pulling off. Hundreds of the bastards!

No mold to speak off accept tiny bits here and there caused by the grubs.

The AK yielded 14 ounces my heaviest ever girl so far. The stoned is a bit too intense for me though. I prefer indica's but my mates love it.

Next grow will be KC Mango, Shiva skunk and The pure which just came in the mail so hope fully I can veg them a little larger again.

Hell yea 14 ounces off one plant what a great job bro!!! Those other girls look perfect, I can't even see any Caterpillar damage but I can imagine how many are inside of those buds, I had a horrible caterpillar invasion last season on a big girl I flowered. Oh well looks like you still pulled some awesome buds out, can we get a close up??? Thanks for sharing! PEACE
