600w closet scrog (first grow)

Hi! I'am new here and a newbie green thumb. First I would like to thank you all for the great info and tons of pictures that helped me to make this project happen.



Closet size: 1m (39") wide, 60cm(24") deep and 1,8m (71") high +

upper area for ufo and power supply etc...



This took me about 2 weeks to build because I had to wait some parts.





The bottom of the "inner closet" is water proof.

Parts:
-600w cooltube + ufo and active coal
-fan
-GHE aerofarm that I "boosted" with one airpump and air curtain. So what should this kind of a system be called? DWC?
-thermostat and fan control
-wet newspaper in a plastic bag and one wet towel to keep the humidity up and mister bottle.
-screen. Hole sizes are about 2" * 2"
-three different thermo meters in different locations.

I used clones. Started with 3 and found out that Orange Bud was growing fastest. So I picked her to my project



Nutrients etc:

-GHE FloraBloom
-GHE FloraGro
-GHE FloraMicro

-ANP (Advanced Natural Power) Growth/Bloom excellarator
-ANP Enzymes+
-ANP Final Solution

-TopMax Bloom stimulator
-Dr. Hornby's Big Bud powder
-CO2 tabs
-Ataclean

I'v been trying to keep PH around 5.5-6.3 and Temperature around 25 C (77 F) during day time and during night time around 19 C (66 F)

So now you know what you need to know I guess? And let's get started...

This animated Gif is from day 6 to day 31. Before the screen appears in the animation its a pic / day. After that my camera was fucked up so the rest of it is just random pics untill day 31.



In this picture you can see the growth. It doubled in a week. I was really impressed. So I gave her 30 days to grow and then I started 12/12 perioid.
I cut (fim) and did some bondage (as you can see in the second pic day 16) with her to get it more "bushy"



Then I started to fold and tie it to the screen and it really started to diverge like a mofo...





I did this folding and tieing about 12 days and the screen was full. Then I let her grow throught. I started to cut growth underneath the screen after 5 days of 12/12. In this picture you can see the first 3 weeks of my flowering. It was really bushy and thats why I needed to start clearing underneath area to get better air circulation





The screen was getting really full. In my opinion it was too full. I'v never seen an overgrown scrog but I was really sure that this was it . In the upper picture you wont see the half of the bud sites because there are so many underneath the top ones and behind them...





Didn't mind... At least I got "something" to smoke and bake with. I used the leafs that i trimmed off from the screen to make butter like this tutorial explains http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=12895 Thanks Haschishin!

At first I doubted the effect of the butter but it really worked. After 1-1.5 hours of eating one I felt really relaxed and a bit high

Flowering day 25 macro and total 53 days. Is that normal that the top of some tricomes are turning to brown/orange. I know when its done and ready it's all orange but in this phase is it normal?

wow, you seriously have a good green thumb!!! Definitely enjoying your diary and keep on doing it! They look so good and I LOVE the animation you made from day 6 to 31!!! Hahaha, I spent like 5 minutes just looking at it. It's very interesting. I wish everybody could do that, then you really could see the progress. Good job!!!

I'v been cutting a lot of leafs and smaller budsites off. Now I think I will just let her grow and produce Any opinions about my screen? Did I cut her vainly? Is it "airly" enough?

I made 12 Basic chocolate muffins with this prescription.



vavamuffins

1.5dl cream
5,5 dl wheat flour
3 dl sugar
3 teaspoon baking powder
3 teaspoon vanilla sugar
3 eggs
4,5 table spoons Cocoa powder
150g dark chocolate
2-2,5 dl melted cannabutter

+ next time I'll add one cup of black coffee

First beat sugar and cannabutter loose and add eggs. Then mix all the dry material together and mix it with cannabutter and eggs. Add everything else and make it loose.

Fill 12 muffin tins like you see in the upper photo and put it in oven at 200 C degrees for 17-20 minutes.

I think this week the buds didn't grow physically so much but became much more smelly and sticky. So 3 weeks left. One week with nutrients and then 2 weeks of final flush





*edit* And the days in these pictures are flowering days. Doesnt include the 28 days of vegetative perioid.

Thanks GorillaGreenz. It was really interesting to build up that setup because every step was a new for me. Next time I'll be much more smarter!



Any opinions on that Final flush? Is 2 weeks too long or just perfect time for these small nugs to flush? I'am using Final Solution for my final flush. And is it ok to add co2 tabs while flushing? I'm going to give her 2 days complete darkness after the flush. So the total flowering perioid will be 58 days

i guess its only one plant but thats pretty big for only 30 days! then six days later u have buds! i think u skipped preflower, 58 days of flower and 30 of grow? must be a hella of a set up!

Yes 58 of flower and 28 of grow. After 28 days of growth I gave her 1.5 weeks nutrients for a "intense growth" and changed light perioid to 12/12. After that I changed nutrients to "excellent flowering" because my scrog was full. As far as i know this 1.5 weeks of "intense growth" was my preflowering?

The total is 65 days so far. 28 days of vegetative and 37 days of flowering.

Thanks cannabean. That is a 2" netpot. And she is holding up pretty tight!



Here is a picture beneath the canopy. As you can see I'v been cutting a lot of branches off during the first 2 flowering weeks.



Bitch is really thirsty. Drinks about 4 gallons (15 l) in a week easily. And gettin' more thirsty every day!

Having some temperature problems . It's gettin' so hot outside that my growroom temp is around 28-30 C (82-86 F) during the light perioid. I hope it gets colder soon damn summer don't come yet!

I'm using now 2 fans inside the closet to cool down my plant and giving more CO2.

Any opinions how that will affect to my plant during these 3 last weeks if it stays so hot outside?

not exactly sure of high temps effect towards the end of cycle there but it can't have too drastic an effect I would think

Today I started the flush with final solution! So she's been in flowering 43 days and total 71 days old now.

I got the flushing water from the other city. In my city tap water EC is 0.28 and the water I got is 0.09

I think the reason I had to cut so much off was that 600w SpNa in the small closet. But really was worth it. Still baking muffins and got some "scissor"hash. God I'v been missing good hash lately

As you can see from this picture the buds are not so big but very solid and there is lots of these nugs.

Nugs at the back row are taller that the ones at the front.



Still having some temperature problems but not so bad anymore. I'v changed the light perioid more to the night because it's colder outside...
