What's new

transplanting and fertilizing.

I just transplanted my two skunk plants into 3 gal containers. I am using fox farm organic soil mixed with perlite. For nutrients i am using pure blend pro grow, and earth juice microblast. Should i wait to fertilize for 2 weeks, or just keep using the pure blend pro? Thanks for the help!

2 weeks? ur a patient fella lol (thats aften a good thing tho)
Skunks tend to b pretty freakn hardy. I'd wait 2 days (jst give them water - only water them if they need it)
Then the next watering or 2 i'd maybe add a little fert (sounds like ur using polverised fert ... If u use a liquid fert. e.g liquid blood and bone or fish emulsion I'd use it at half strength for nxt couple watering) ... Then in a week or so go bak to standard feeding routine.

Thats my theory anyway, feel free to ignore it if u want lol

If ur not using liquid fert i'd recommend getting some for when u transplant ... I use Organic liquid fert every watering without getting nute burn (Blood & Bone and Fish Emulsion are organic) ... I got nothing against solid ferts tho haha.

Cheers

yeah dude i actually usin same ferts as u plus liquid karma n cal-mag i waited till flowering to transplant.......lol not best move but its payin off now anyways yes jus cut yer nutes in half for next couple waterings then go back to full strength u shouldnt have any prob wit em mine loved stretchin out there roots

3gl containers huh? sounds like a pretty nice garden. now what i do with soil is use the weight of the bag to tell whether they need to be watered or not.. FF ocean forest is pretty hefty stuff.

unless your into flowering already, you really dont need to feed with nutes all the time, but you do need to add your molasses to every watering, since it keeps the good stuff in your soil active and available for the plants to use at all times.

i refer everyone to BLAZEONEUP as far as soil grows, hes more of a hydro man, but his soil recipe is pretty simple and all he uses is water. i also like his transplanting techniques as well (blazeoneup hits the dirt) lotta good organic soil info. my organic soil mix is, FF:OF,LW/earthworm castings/blood, bone meals/ perilite and promixBX as a base for it all. every watering i use molasses but every other watering i mix molasses and a tblsp of supertea per gl.

hope this helps

EDIT: just checked out your photo gallery and if those are current pics, then you are getting a lil burn on your leaf tips, you may wanna cut back bit and water with nutes every other. like i said FF is heavy stuff.
