Finally got a dwc bucket setup goin transplanted last night n woke up to a few of them with real droopy leaves... roots where long enought to hit water allready so some are touching...is it just shock?

Ph was 5.8 ppm was 580
This morning
Ph was 6.2 ppm was 550

They say ppm down ph up means they need more food... I just adjusted the ph for the time being...I will up the food later tonight...

Any info on the droopy leaves? Pics to come..

Ps. All leaves are nice and green :joint:

If you just transplanted them, let them stabilize and get over the trauma. PH often rises over night, it was probably not the plants feeding, so I would go easy on the nute bump. Check your air hose/stones any time you see drooping during the grow.

Yeah I haven't fed and prolly won't tonight...I have pretty good bubbles, the ones that seem to have less bubbles are actually looking better..I'll just keep an eye on them.. Thanks Haps :joint:

Droopy leaves in DWC usually means not enough air in the water.

i will be messing with different air stones to see how things look...might even drop an aerator in a couple of them to see if theres any difference...

Ph keeps going up i adjusted it back down to 5.8 this morning now 6 hours later it was at 6.2....

I had both of these issues; the ph rise is normal (unless its going real fast...which yours is. I'm not sure on that one, I just kept adjusting mine. Are you using tap water? It could have stabilizers in it bringing it back up...you might try RO or distilled and see if that helps.)

What is your rez water temp? Any bugs? Those 2 things caused my droop.

Now I'm in flower and the top growth is fine but the bottom leaves that drooped are still all droopy... Should i chop em off or just leave em all pathetic looking?

phatty im using RO water..well sorta its still like 100ish of ppm.. i noticed i didnt shut off the valve from my top off rez which the water in that rez the PH is like 7.5 (havent adjusted it) or anything so maybe that was causing it..

my rez temp is 68c i have a good size chiller on it :joint: i changed out the stones on the ones that where droopy, lets see how they awake tomorrow morning

What are you using to adjust pH? It almost sounds like you're using vinegar intsead of phosphoric acid aka pHDown. Have you tried a nute solution that's slightly rich? This will cause EC to climb and pH to drop. Unadjusted tap water will then lower EC and raise pH back to where you started.

freezer im using GH PhDown.. checked a while ago and my PPM's had gone up to about 720ish.. Im running RO water but its not a 50ppm like most RO guys are getting..my waters just way to hard, it stays steady at 6.2 6.3ph tho when left alone
