there great with a basement. I have set many on a poured concrete basement and they looked good when done.

The good ones will, 2x6 framing is a must, most come in two halves and a crane is needed to set them. there very popular in the mid west and they get a lot of bad weather.

This is not your typical Prefab home it seems to me. This one looks even more like a box than your typical mobile home.

Interesting, though if I wanted a new house and had that kind of coin I would build it myself. We built a very nice house down around Cumberland a few years back, land included it was only $48,900. I highly doubt that one of those(or any prefab for that matter), would stand up to harsh weather.
