Which strain has the perfect high for me?

I am planning an indoor grow and am wanting to find something truly special for the garden. I do request that the genetics are availabe for purchase from a seedbank (there are some from the good old OG days that I'd love to get my hands on, original BOG comes to mind). I'm trying to grow 5-7 strains that really peak my interest, and then find 2-3 strains that I really do love. I am growing for purely personal use, to supply my own medicine so to speak.

I tend to have anxiety issues, and sometimes certain marijuana can trigger this if I'm not in the right state of mind. I also suffer from mild to moderate back pain on occaision, and believe the right strain could really help. I absolutely hate sleepy highs that crash hard and make me want to sleep no matter what time it is. Couchlock isn't a bad thing if the body high is real real heavy.

Let me describe what I'm looking for, perhaps 2 strains for sure.

#1. Very calming, relaxing, NOT couchlock, cerebral, upbeat, stimulant like effects, heavy social lubricant/conversational, but not stupefying/mind numbing.

#2. Extremely powerful pain relieving/killing effects, powerful sense of well being or euphoria, not trippy at all, easy on the mind, and not stupefying.

#3. Something real trippy, seriously hallucinogenic, with visuals. I've always doubted something like this could exist, and if it does, I want to grow it, cost no object for this guy.

Yield is not really an issue, quality is of the main concern here. Cost is no object, but I'd be lying if I said I don't love some bang for the buck. If I can try 2-4 interesting strains for the cost of 1 expensive one, that's a factor. Then again, if there is a strain that's so on the money it's worth it, I'm all for considering it.

And of course keep in mind my introduction.

I figured this was the perfect place to ask.

Hey 1love1earth,

Reading your list there, I would have to strongly recommend my personal holy grail, Maple leaf indica from sensi seeds. If you dont let the plant overripene, (mostly clear) it has a relaxing yet giggly, euphoric feeling that makes you smile from the first toke. The smoke makes you warm and happy and relaxed. A mapley/caramel taste that makes you want to smoke it just for that. Yumyum.

I have some plants that I allow to overripen by a week or more, and these plants with a 90 day cure, have a devestating numbing, drunken red eyed stupor that disallows driving or much else. It still carries a smile and giggle, but its on the way out. My wife uses this smoke for her period days. Burn one, knockout, wake up , burn one , knock out. stoned, numb and drunk. Get on your pajamas and find the remote, the party's on!!!

You can manipulate this strain to the effect you desire, but all are happy, warm and pleasureable. Ive grown this every year for years now, and of all the strains i grow, MLI is the one for me.

Im also looking for #3,the most likely choice is a haze cross,at least i read it here on IC.Check out Sam's Haze x Skunk.It has a nice smoke report.Others you should check:titans haze by flying dutchmen and o.haze by seedsman/here you can find interesting stuff/.
And dont forget to peek in the ultimate sativa thread.Huge amount of knowledge (big hug for all of the guys and girls there ).
Whatever your choice wil be,harvest in stages as silverback suggested.Maybe the early pick will not give you anxiety.Maybe the late pick will be better.My current strains have quite a difference in the highs picked 1weeks later/earlier.

how do folks feel about Arjans haze (#2 caught my eye due to CBD/CBN levels, but who knows how accurate that is)? What is the difference between Arjans haze, and Arjans Ultra haze? Another one I was considering was the Arjans Strawberry haze, all of which are from greenhouse, and will run me a good bit of coin.

Titans haze also looks to be interesting, I've been curious about a nice haze cross, yield/flowering time of a skunk #1 type, but the high of haze. I've often wished I had the space/security to do some breeding, I would love to find a really special MRN critical mass pheno and cross it with a real quality haze pheno (maybe even something from the original genetics). Of course it'd be quite a bit of work to stabilize it, and find what I was looking for, but it'd be a ton of fun...

Maple leaf I will consider for sure, I've been looking for a "real friendly, real social, real mellow" strain for some time, the sort of thing that helps folks come together, open up, and really connect on a deeper level. This might just be the one :)

The early harvesting is a real good plan, maybe harvest at 3 different stages, label the goods, and see which one comes out the best, then rinse repeat.

What do you all think about a narcotic strain I described in my "#2"?

While I absolutely despise opiates, due to their extremely addictive nature, and physical dependency, does anyone with experience on that side of things know of genetics with similar pain killing effects, or even that sense of euphoria? I'm talking really medicinal, the kind of stuff that can really help people in need.

I realize there are strains called "euphoria" and "opium" but I've honestly always felt this was just marketing and branding, nothing more.

I'd recommend Mandala Satori for this, I love to smoke my garbage/onion/garlic pheno before I go to a party or something. Very social, good for having chilled out, mindless small talk. Couple this strain with a few beers and you have a great friday night.

Does it exist? Are people that have never taken a hallucinogen just overwhelmed by the high, and feel it is hallucinogenic, or is there a real deal strain out there? I almost want to give this one a shot just to be able to debunk it, as I've never experienced typical (or any for that matter) real visual effects from marijuana.

Now the strain I would love to find is the one I asked about in my post just above, real narcotic pain killing effects, incredibly calming/relaxing, and of course heavy euphoria. Preferably without "sleepy" effects, or mind clouding effects. I want the best of the best here.

Also, I will be using Satori in my garden along with Hashberry and fem Big Bang.

Forgot to note if it is of any significance, no hydro or chemicals here, just pure organic old fashoned dirt.

Try shanti's SSH or mango haze for something special in your garden. They are both truly amazing and some phenos will not only stimulate you, but also have medicating qualities too....the best of both worlds. Also consider Swiss Bliss from paradise, very stimulating with a nice medicinal kick to it. For something truly narcotic, go with luc's durga mata or sensi star.

One thing that has always confused me, alot of different breeders offer similar products, sometimes with a bit of a price difference. Shanti sells a super silver haze, so does greenhouse, sure there's neville's haze, but there's also arjans haze, and arjans ultra haze, both of which come in 3 different strains within that, then you've got arjans strawberry haze, shantis mango haze. Not to mention all of the G13 crosses, shanti has them, soma has them, the list goes on and on.

well couch lock is most bog strains which u dont want, but i think is the best for anxiety. since them seeds arnt around, i'de say go with nirvana ak48, top 44

Need clone mothers for outdoors project, hence all the feminized, there just might not be time to sex then clone, so more feminized it was.

So surely a few of these plants will stay indoor to be flowered, but for now the complete list is:

all of which are in the process of popping up (mandala stuff popped taproots fast (24hr) some were pretty big (couple mm), I'm going to drop them straight into the ground next time instead of paper towel, hopefully they are OK).

So I've got 67 seeds in the ground currently waiting to pop, and another 15 soon to be planted.

When I get the mandala order we're talking another 4 strains at 2-3 seeds each= 8-12 more, probably 90+ seeds before we're all said and done...

obviously some of these are going to be finding homes outdoors pretty soon

You seem to be asking for everything all at once. Which is hard to get.

Pain relief comes primarily from CDB content, which also produces the couch lock effect.

"Something real trippy, seriously hallucinogenic, with visuals" would come from high THC content, which will also exacerbate your issues with anxiety.

So your objectives are probably in conflict.

My suggestion would be any good indica, or maybe a sativa that you allow to overmature to boost CBD content.

hey 1 love... shanti used to work with greenhouse... and greenhouse used to carry his super silver haze... but then they "got consumed by greed" and parted ways..greenhouse doesnt suppsoedly have the same clone (or something.. im not sure... ) that shanti had from the early days... so youll haer alot of ppl complain that GHS SSH is crap compared to Mr Nice SSH, but idk... i havent personally grown out either...

I got it from mandala seeds, their direct online store, a google search of "mandala seeds" will bring up their website.

I put one in with gypsy, and one with mandala, I'm going to guess gypsy does a bit more business volume, but mandala was a solid 10 days faster, and I must say their packaging truly is top notch. If I was ever worried about order security, they would be very high up on my list if not the top.

I realize I was probably asking for a bit much, I'd rather have someone tell me that than feed me a bunch of marketing hype.

I think I'm just going to have to work out my adverse reactions to marijuana, it's something I've developed over a long period of time, just the first cone or so can sometimes get to me until I mentally work it all out, didn't use to be like that by any means, just a bad habit I let my brain get into I think.

So I guess my haze/skunk cross will have to do. I've been considering Arjans Strawberry Haze, but part of me thinks that "reasonably expensive" haze genetics may not be the best thing to introduce to the style of grow that I have going on, might just finish too late, or take more TLC than I have to give right now in my space.

MRN stuff is tempting, it seems like he claims to have (not that I'm doubting him) all the original genetics that make up some of the most mainstream genetics, white widow, white rhino, neville's haze, skunk#1, big bud, so on and so forth.

Anyways, I've got one full room now and I don't think it can fit much more, let alone what I've got now (at least not all through flower for sure).

Unless there's something crazy special, which I'm tempted to still consider, but I appreciate all the suggestions, I wish I had a space as big as I wanted all with no leo, just to explore my hobby, but I don't :(

I saw that on the main site before continuing to their sales site, I just figured it meant that they weren't going to be selling to other seedbanks, as I continued on to the sales page, placed an order, and recieved the automated confirmation. I also can't get their webpage to come up at all right now, though that may just be a coincidence. Though now I am a bit concerned after what you've said, because I've yet to recieve the 2nd email they usually send, and have tried making contact without response, though I'll be much more worried if they don't contact me be tues/weds after the weekend, hopefully my order with them is still valid :/
