What are the best airstones for DWC? Right now i've got the 6'' ceramic ones with an eco-8 pushing them in a 15 gallon reservoir.

So which is better,

A-6 inch flat ceramic airstones (ecoplus)
B-Large round airstones (ecoplus)
C-2'' air diffusers
D-aquarium bubble disc 4 inch airstones

E-Some other kind I've not heard of?

i allways used the cheapest i could find you end up tossing them in a few rounds and buying new ones.....

now i dont even use air..... and use the waterfall from the drainage but thats kind of hard to do in dwc.... :)

I would get ones that don't chip. Of the ones you listed I believe C is the one.

Bare tube beats the shit out of stones, no replacing them, no maintenance, no worries.

Nah, the small aquarium tubing and pumps is what i use, duct taped down, the duct tape needs to be changed every year, but works for multiple crops.

1/4" Soaker hose from Wally World. 50' of hose is $6 and a pack of Tee's is $1.25.

Bubbles like crazy and if it gets clogged you can stretch it out and reuse it or I just toss it and put a fresh length in.

Well the reusable alita ones look pretty nice, but why bother if you can just duck tape a line in there? save money and the trouble of getting new ones. Thanks for the input guys!
