What's new

Dresser Act III

This time I opted for a regular strain and busted out my timer.

I started them on 12/12 and plan to switch back to 18/6 or 20/4 in a few days once they all sex.

I plan on chopping them all up for clones. This time I will fill all 5 holes in my lid.

The strain is home bred ak47/blueberry male X purple skunk female. The larger plant was topped as soon as she showed, now I have 6 potential branches for cloning.

I also have 2 smaller seedlings, if they are female and I like their structure i'll clone them too, otherwise all my clones will be the branches on the larger plant in about a weeks time.

Not much for now, but soon enough there will be something to see.

Thanks for stopping in fat tone, here's a shot of the outside.

The turtles water is usually much cleaner than that. The tape usually doesn't show.

Looking good! :D

So you fast flower them, take as many clones as possible from the ladies. Revert the clones to veg and then flower those later on after more veg?

Sounds interesting :)

Thats my plan at the moment, just because I'm not using an autoflowerer any more. The last run I did I got 1 female out of 6 beans germinated so I never fully explored the potential of my new reservoir and lid. I'm going to need some clones for the spring anyhow, I figured I may as well get a start. At least one of the clones will be a mother for the spring.

The plant in the back with heat stroke is a male.

The one in the front has 7 fingers on its 3rd set of real leaves(1finger>3fingers>7fingers). I suspect it might be a male, but I'm not concerned, the female has enough branches for 6 good clones.

Clones.

The two seedlings on the right were both male so i chopped up the female into 7 decent clones. My lid has room for 5 cubes so one cube got 3 clones. The humidity dome is the tupperware the lid originally came from, it has a white piece of paper on top.

My only worry now is temperature, hopefully it doesn't get too hot in there.

Yesterday I gave all the clones a checkup, 3/7 have rooted. These will most likely just stay in the reservoir and produce clones for springtime. The other cuts are beginning to yellow a little at the bottom, hopefully before the end of the week they'll all be sorted out.

i'm sort of doing the same thing right now
i started with just the pc case, but now have two more cabs in my dresser that i will use for flowering...so i'm gonna clone up some bitches

good luck on those other clones rooting :headbange

I love it!

The garbage pail I'm using now takes up at least half of my vertical space so I've been convinced to try coco by several members here the next time round.

Since I have no ventilation whatsoever heavy training and CO2 supplementation are fairly important. Lowryder also doesn't mind if you throw in a "cool down" hour once in a while.

My setup is 100% stealthy, not a single person including my roommates, lady friends, landlords (yes multiple), parents or a random electrician have wondered if there was something up with my dresser. Any smell is easily covered up with "yeah I got a really good bag right now" and sound from the pump is drowned out by the turtles' pump. This whole escapade has made outdoor growing seem risky! haha anyways, "how do you like working in such short areas?" I like it very much, I dont think I even notice any more.
