Federal pot from university of Mississippi

There is not much info on the pot itself.

at last count there is between 5-7 federal medical marijuana patients still alive today in the US. They receive anywhere between 5-12 oz of pot from the federal government. This pot is grown on a small farm located on the campus of the university of mississippi at oxford. Can anyone answer a few questions please.

does anyone know:

what strain is grown?
of all the weed in the world, why did the government decide on that strain?
is their a head grower? What qualified that person to be the head grower of the federal cannabis program?

has there ever been a smoke report/Thc/cbd report on the federal pot?

is the farm at the University of Mississippi a heavily armed compound ala Fort Knox?

it just blows my mind that while the DEA is destroying the lives of the sick in California, that same Federal government is provided pot to a handfull of patients.

Rosenfeld is a stockbroker from Miami. he gets an 11 oz. tin every 25 days,containing 300 rolled joints. These are the standard 4%THc government joints that the program gives to med patients and medical researchers. Dr. Mamoud El Solay is head of the program. It is on a bid basis and he has won the bid for the last several 4 year terms. No one else has won it. Was started,I believe by Dr. Carlton Turner. Supposedly, they have a 4%,6% and 10% strain. Their budget is $400,000 per year when they don't grow and $600,000 per year when they do. All pot is shredded and goes through a machine to remove seeds and stems. Folks claim it doesn't do a very good job. The pot is then frozen and taken out when needed. Recently, the DEA was sued by U. of Mass to get the right to grow a stronger pot for medical research. The judge ruled in their favor. Somewhere on here there is a 93 page ruling from the DEA administrative judge about it, but I forgot where it is. Don't know if the DEA ever caved in and gave U Mass the right to grow.

duder under the federal program is allowed and gets 11 oz but ppl under state programs only allowed 1-2 oz in possession at any1 time . dang see the feds know how much meds it takes for a months supply time for change Feds leave the states alone. let them up the amount and leave them alone a federal script for 10 joints a day equal approx 1/4 oz smoke i average 5-6 joints per 1/4 oz when i roll

The THC content in the joints, that Irv gets, is limited to 4%. It is limited because anything stronger than that gums up their rolling machines.

It is rolled somewhat fresh and then freeze dried.

yea. one of federal cannabis users in flordia was saying it was all crapp dirt weed tHat is over 10 yrs old. govt is deffinatly not trying to breed a new superstrain for medical users. g13 = mytH

He still smokes 300 spliffs per mos., over 80,000 in lifetime and feels/works great.
