its rainy in GTA but temps should be staying above freezing this week, i hope were in for a steady increase in temp and no funky fluctuations.

over here im averaging an 6-8 week wait before ladies go outdoors.

Hey guys, doing my first grow this summer. I finished germing a week ago and put them in dixie cups. I have one confirmed female (that i started about 3 weeks ago) and the rest are undetermined. I'm working with some "Fat Skunk" that i got from the seedbank on Lakeshore in Toronto (i think its called the Ontario seedbank) And since the weather was so nice out today i went to scope out the spots that i found using google earth. They look promising. I hope to be able to move my stuff outside by may 20th, do you think thats a good date?
Once i get my post count up i'll either make a thread or post some pics here.
This thread will be great since we can all gather helpful tips from eachother.
Good Luck.

Cheeba cheeba - How do you know it is female if it is only three weeks old? Is it a clone? May 20 is as soon as you should consider taking plants outside in Ontario. Another week won't hurt and may be better for your survival rate. If you wait till the solstice (June 20) you are at peak day length and the beginning of increasing night length which will encourage earlier flowering and restrict height (if being discovered is a concern).

I'm going to downtown Toronto this Saturday and I need to buy some seeds (approx 20-30 as long as the price is right) for an outdoor grow in the Kawarthas this year. I know its getting late but i'm going to start germing the seeds on Saturday when i get them. What strain(s) do you guys recommend taht will be reasonably priced and is suited for outdoors in this region? Where should I go to buy the seeds?

I'm considering getting the Sensi Seeds outdoor mix from Sacred Seed. You get 40 random outdoor seeds for $120, but I'm worried that the outdoor strains will not be suited to the short season this far north. What do you guys recommend instead? Thanks
