Im growing bcbd Purps currently and have used it in couple crosses! The one female I have (only in pack ) has "normal" growthrate at veg, but stretch madly at flowering, which make me believe it has some sativa genetics in it..

Here´s my Purps couple days ago, she was pollinated with Purple Kush pollen!

















I did also use Purps pollen on Neville´s Haze female, couple beans have been popped! Offspring seems Purps dominate at young age, not a miracle considering it´s a IBL! However, I think Neville´s Haze traits pops at least in Flowering

As far as I know, the real "Mendo Purps" is an old school NorCal strain tat was bred in Mendoceno County and is not too easy (or impossible-?) to find. I also hear it is/was THE BOMB. Almost everything I've seen in Cali that was being called "The Purps" seemed to be a cross of various purple strains. Or just crappy GDP, Urkle, Grape Ape, etc.

Several months back I went to one place and picked up some of "The Purps" and was completely positive it was Purple Kush. I went to another place just down the street and was told (and shown) that what I had was "Indeed Purple Kush."

This is actually pretty funny because I told the guy at the first place that I preferred PK to what people were now calling "The Purps." He told me that they "haven"t gotten any PK for months" and that "The Purps is just as good". In reality these nugs were pretty good lookin, but as I obviously didn't seem that into it, homeboy decided to give me a lil' discount. Double Hookup! In the end I walked away with exactly what I wanted for less than I ever could have imagined.

my clone of GDP has only grown about a foot since i changed to 12/12 25 days ago so i dont think its too much
