The best white widow to me is a personal oppinion.. what i think is great.. you might think is only good. I'm currently growing greenhouse white widow for the second time. Good smoke. Packs on weight & trichs late. I also think white rhino is better { serious seeds }.pics in my gallery of current widow...only 1 month into flowering.

i thought aloha white widow was the best?
White Russian is some killer smoke...very potent and very tasty! Id start with it.

Actually Serious Seeds doesnt sell White Rhino, which is again a Mr. Nice variety but whose name was changed to Medicine Man due to all of the incarnations of this variety on the market. Serious Seeds does sell White Russian, which is a Widow x Ak47 variety and is highly touted although I havent had the chance to grow her yet.
Serious Seeds is an outstanding source for genetics, as well is Shantibaba at Mr. Nice seeds.

So to answer your question, yes, you do know Black Widow. It is the original White Widow in all of it's glory, from the original breeders. Thus, it will be the best example of what originally caused all the ruckus.
I'm not saying that the White Widow sold by other seedbanks isn't good weed. In fact, it's probably all comparable and mostly subjective. I'm just saying if you are specifically looking for "White Widow," then what you are really looking for is "Black Widow" by Mr. Nice Seeds.
If you are just looking for good weed that fits the description of White Widow, then you could save money by not getting the original.
It's up to you.
