I hear ya about the Thais Lou, I hat topping plants too, much prefer to let em grow naturally, but being an indoor guy wiuth small space, I have to top pretty much everything! These Thais are gonna be a challenge for sure, I am gonna dust my best female with my Purple Afghan male in a few weeks, that should shorten the flowering time of the Thai a fair bit and probably allow them to flower on a 12/12 cycle. I'll be sure to send you some of those PA x Thai bean Lou, maybe they will be more suitable than the pure Thai?

About the Thais, after ten days of 11/13 (after 90-odd days of 12/12) the biggest of the three I have has produced a few pistils, she may indeed be slowly starting to flower. The other two still haven't started producing pistils, I might have to drop to 10/14 to get em to flower properly. I'm a bit reluctant as I have a crop of indicas alongside them at various stages of flowering and I wonder if a drop to 10/14 will affect them in some negative way?

There is a Black Domina at 5 weeks, a Hashplant at 6 weeks, another HP at 3 weeks, a G13 x OG Kush at 5 weeks, another at 3 weeks, a Grape Krush at 3 weeks and two SAGEs at 3 weeks too. I always take Lou's word as gospel, every technique of his I've copied worked a treat, are you sure that switching all these indicas at different stages down to 10/14 won;t make a difference? There is also a Nigerian Nightmare at 6 weeks and a Trainwreck x Mexi at 7 weeks, then there are a couple of sativas almost finished and a couple more sats just starting to flower.

I'm guessing 10/14 might make the indicas finish a lil bit quicker, will it also hurt yield? 10 hours vs 12 is a 17% reduction in light input, won't that mean a reduction in yield?

Hiya everyone almost done!!!!!!

Got a few good shots of the indica dominant plants......
SATIVAS are gonna go inside to finish up under 1000w's!

Here i would like to show how my sun does plants faster than any
light can haha.....the first pics here show the plants from the outside
patch that i brought indoors a while back........you will see their still green?
Just a few like my PINEx WIDOW are finishing fast indoors but most not done.


This pics shows the indoor section still chugging along all mostly green??????
THose plants came up together outside then were brought indoors under my 600w table......huh?......like i say in my sig,YOU CANT BEAT THE SUN!!!!!!!!!

Now this is the proof that MY SUN really does a good job finishing plants up!
These plants that are WAY MORE YELLOW remained outdoors to finish........
THey are now in my studio sitting bunched up under my 400w light for a week or so but they are about done,at this stage plants just need to sit a bit!








SEE WHAT I MEAN way faster!

Oh we're interested, was just waiting for the picture uploads! They look great lougrew! I hope my outdoor harvest this season can only imitate your past harvests.

But, I have a question; because your climate seems pretty similar to mine, do the plants you brought outside in the spring have similar finishing times to the same strain harvested in the fall. That is... not the same month, but the amount of time it takes to finish flowering. Or have you noticed it to take longer or shorter in the spring.

To make myself clear: does a 60 day flowering strain finish in 60 days in the spring?
