I'm just starting to sift through the mind-boggling array of available strains from the various seedbanks. Wow. My current dilemma is this: Is it really worth it to spend the extra $$ for the more expensive beans, such as the seeds on the seedbank.com Website? I see that most 10 packs are going for $40 and up, yet there were some seeds from Gypsy Nirvana that were like 12 Euro for 10.
Some background: I grew once before, and it was fun and successful, so I have some idea of what I am doing.I plan an indoor, very small grow, 1 -3 plants at most, in a 4x5x6.5 high space, under 400w HPS, in soil pots. This will be my second grow, and I just plan to grow em and cut em. If I get even one plant, that'll be enough to keep me flush with sticky for a year or more. Thus, while some decent potency and taste are desired, overall yield isn't a big deal, and some phenotype variance doesn't bother me either, as I am not looking for a mother. I like a Sativa-Indica mix, either 50-50 or slightly favoring the Indica for pain releif.
So, with all of the above taken under consideration, is it worth it for me to buy the expensive seeds? Or would I just be wasting $$, since I don't plan to grow more than a plant or so?
Thanks for any feedback you can provide.
