Yeah, I let him know about it... He gets it from someone else though, and didn't offer to make good on it. I wouldn't have bought from this guy but he lives close to home and has delivered good in the past. The whole thing was really lame and sketchy though. I think my guy was really a middle-man trying to pinch off his customers' product. I'm getting a med card soon so this kind of thing will never happen again. Stay tuned tomorrow as I'm almost done with the Purple and looking to score some real chronic from a real friend

Man, that just sucks. I guess Karma will sort this one out though.

That is why I never dealt with anyone I wouldn't trust. But I guess I have also just been very fortunate with the friends I have made. So I hope your next bag makes up for this disappointment.

Looks like you got the left over popcorn nugs. A friend I know who does sell gets rid of the smaller stuff as they move the larger buds. The perfect blend as they like to call it, hehe. That way no one ends up with the small things. They do it right tho, always the correct weight or a tad bit over. Keeps is customers happy and coming back. Hard to find a "honst' dope man, hehe Always did hate to buy a sack of tiny ones, but in a pinch it's more better than staring at an empty bag. That pipe don't smoke itself, lol. Although small, the buds do look nice with what looks like good resin gland production. Nice report on smell and high too. Thanks for sharing.

My pleasure. Thanks for the comments guys. This "friend" was actually a former employee of mine, go figure. So, the Purple Magic smoked real well. The smell and taste reminded me of some buds my friend brought back from Jamaica in a speaker in the 80's. Kind of "dirty" tasting, although I guess we could say "musky" or "earthy" lol. I'de really like to see some full-sized primo nugs of that strain.

Moving on...here is my new batch. The strain: AOTA (All of the Above). Got these nugs this morning from a real good guy. At $80 for the 1/4, this might be the best deal I've had, ever. Karma is nice, isn't it? Appearance is nice... a little generic looking I suppose. This is a very quality herb though, no doubt about it. I'll keep ya posted on the smoke.







EDIT: Ok, so here's the smoke report. So as I discussed, the appearance of these buds is a little generic, lending to a so-so bag appeal. But, upon close examination of these buds and while breaking them down, there is no mistaking how sticky and loaded with trichs they are. A little bit "heavy", the AOTA takes a few extra twists of the grinder, and doesn't leave too much keif behind due to the stickyness. The texture and "meatyness" of the flowers is similar to Chyrstal and also brings Train Wreck to mind.

Aroma is definitely on the floral side of things, a strong perfume or potpourri with hints of lemons and a candy-sugar honey. There's also a slight pepper and diesel-like petrol to it. When ground, a strong menthol/peppermint is released as well, a trait which I have found is common in these sticky, heavy bud strains like Chrys and TW. Smoke is real tasty. Kind of tropical and fruity, with a touch of flowers and a real strong expansion during the inhale. I'de say the stone is about 50/50 Indica to Sativa. It could swing either way, depending on whether the glass is "half full" or "half empty" for you. A warm, headdy stone with no real couch lock, a touch on the lazy side though.. I tend to get really focused in on things. I enjoy this almost trance-like quality very much in a weed. It reminds me of when I first started smoking. Potency is there, but it's not going to be tripping anybody out. An excellent weed for a movie or an afternoon bong rip with a nice cup of joe. Would be a solid A if not for the bag-appeal. A/A-.

Had some fun last night...

My buddy scored some real nice herb. I believe it is TW. Smell is a kind of skunky menthol with a hint of lemons. High was superb. A very chill up sativa stone...somewhere between energetic and euphoric, no raceyness or paranoia at all...excellent for conversations, gave us a real bad case of the munchies. Not the best for movies, we ended up talking way too much! Taste was superb... Very, very strong, even in a spliff. Enjoyed it alongside some nice Belgian ales. Potency hits you right away. I have always found TW to be a "crack" weed- keeps you loading the bong all night even though you're already blasted. We smoked about 1.5 grams and were pretty smashed by the end of the night.

Hi folks. Here's some new bud for ya. Pinecracker, grown outdoors in northern california. It's very potent stuff. Smells of lemons and bologne. Very sticky resinous buds with huge calyxes. It definitely resembles trainwreck..but the yellow hue and indica buzz are different. High is a nice euphoric buzz followed by a mind numbing warm indica creeper stone. Very relaxing and mellow. Good for movies and other couch-related activities. Definitely a bit of a sleeper though.

Hey peeps

Lovin' the med card.

Some 8's for ya...

Picked up some Super Silver Haze for $50. Nice smoke. Moderate sativa high. Buds had the consistency and weight of popcorn.




Some Master Kush for $40. Seems to be pretty decent so far. Smell is really pungent...pine, citrus, floral notes. Some strawberry and other berry aromas as well.




Oh yeah....the OG Kush baby. $50 special. Smell is a really mellow pine with a definite spice backbone- cumin, black pepper, and a hint of orange peel. Warm "smack you in the face" indica buzz. This batch pops a little when smoked..too bad. Very nice, potent smoke nonetheless.




Last but not least, the "Super" Grape Ape. Not quite sure what makes it "super." (After only a couple days I'm already getting a little tired of all the "platinum" and "ultra" type names around the LA scene.) Picked it up for $45 on sale. Very purple. Smells wonderful- the strongest of all. Very floral potpourri with subtle hints of peppermint and some juicy tropical fruit notes. Mmmm! Nice high...quite energetic but it's definitely a relaxing buzz.

Hey RIP, do you know which cut of OG that was. It looks quite nice, so I am sad to hear that is probably wasn't flushed properly.

As for the Super Grape Ape, I think it might have originated from a self pollinated Grape Ape, but I could also be wrong on that. If anyone knows the truth about the Super Grape Ape, I would love to know.

Speaking of which...got some new items in the bag...



Here is some Sour OG Kush that I picked up last night...







Smell is great. Got that kind of minty floral OG smell will a really crazy sourpatch kids candy aroma. Very impressive. It was real fun to compare her to my regular OG. The composition is about 50/50 Indy to Sativa i'de say. Some real wonderful herb.

We also picked up some Maui Waui and some Bubba Kush. The jar of Bubba was quite possibly some of the finest nugs I have ever seen. Mmmm. Had to grab a gram. Also got a gram of the MW. 100% Sativa, gave me a really energetic, racy high but it was very enjoyable, especially along side the Sour OG.
