Any ideas on saucers to catch the water? I found some online but they were 6 bucks a piece. 22" across and 2" deep. They need to be DEEEEEEP.

i just use the lids from the containers to catch water

Try lowes growing section, they have large water collection things for the bottom of pots.

I think you could have Vegged twice as long in that large of a container. You have a 15 gal container and your plant is smaller than mine in a 5 gallon. I do like your toping method, I believe I will do that for my next grow. After you harvest pull up the plant and see how much soil the roots were not using.
