hey gaius, I'm still searching for the dang thing! haha! I've been slacking in the hash dept. recently. the ww I've got going right now is doing extremely well. heavy sugar on day 34. they have a bit of skunk smell, danky fruity.
also I was wondering how, in the 20 gal set, could you reach the bottom to stir(with toothbrush?) seems like the wooden spoon would be useful to circulate the bottom material to the top where the toothbrush could really get at it......

you have brought up an interesting point about the 20 gallon set of bags. it sometimes needs a long implement to stirr and get those leaves floating again. specialy for the second run. but its not only the toothbrush that doesn't reach, its no different with the mixer. but normaly speaking the veg mater will float and the trichomes will sink, you just have to get them moveing again until they float again for the second run.
great news about your widows, may you find the ultimate WW keeper. by the way wish me luck finding something special to rival my WW amongst the Basic Diesel and the Sour Diesel i'm growing into momas. if you wish to see them check the link in my sig. have you started a thread mate?

hehe i know how it can be once you have a good stash of bubble hash it can be difficult to get your ass into gear and do a new run. don't worry when it starts running out you'll be back to them bags lol.

Its Time For Some Jared Bubble Pics
this is my preffered methode to keep the bubble hash, just wish the jars weren't so expensive. i have started collecting small spice jars which are great too and free.
the first pics show you the same 73u WW bubblehash but one part is in the original state and the other fine part is the same hash but groud up in a coffee grinder. this makes it very convinient to put hits on the bong. it also makes it more economical to use it as it really opens it up as you can see. anyway that fine powdery 73u WW is on the way hopefuly and will be there to share for the 420 lol.
the coffee grinder is also great to help dry your bubble completly. also for the purpose of pressing a coin, one first has to powderize the bubble evenly. if i have time all do a few pics of makeing a bubble hash coin later.
for now enjoy the fotoshoot of what i still have from my last 2 runs. the dark colored stuff comes from the older run with some ultrasonic mixing but mostly cake mixer mixing. and the light colored stuff comes from the pure ultrasonic mixing, it was also made from 8 week WW trim the other was 9 week trim.
anyway enough details time for pics...

4/20 is approaching, are you still headed there? I imagine you are leaving soon, even if the party is officially off. the big question is will they still have those boat rides! I remember your thread last year, and how envious I was. I wonder if we'll ever see another one?
did you ever figure out how to stir the bubble? I'm glad you got my point about the depth of the bags. I know in my 5 gallon set I'm always trying to turn over the mix, so I get ALL the material.
Well the WW came out Glorious, one of my best grows. great plant, I see why it's a staple in your garden, besides being great smoke, it keeps away mildew, and yields high. I got 2 pheno's in my clone batch, the sativa one is phenominal, and I ran it at 1.2 ec max. btw what is the liniage for WW, is there some skunk in there?
well gm I'm graduating to the 20 gallon set asap. tell me when you put all the bags in at once doesn't the hash stick to the bottom of the upper screen all the way down?? before we were running each bag individually.....but with the 20 gal that wont be a good idea!!! i know the instructions say to put all the bags in on top of eachother, but you know me gaius, I'm always doing things the way I see them.
any chance we get to see a bubble coin being made?

Damn nice, i guess those tooth brushes don't hols a long charge cuz i've heard from more than one person that it ran out of juice before the run was over.
I'm doing a batch of BH next week and I think i'll try something like this, I like the full melt.
Has anyone though of using something that is built to vibrate properly for longer periods of time like a vibrator or back massager.
I'm not aiming for kinky hash but something that works on D cell batts would probably tough it out.

well 420 has come and gone and i did indeed go anyway, lol. it was superb i had a great time there was loads of the cooler ic-mag members around. the fact that it was not officialy official was all to the good in the end. only the really dedicated members came lol. one pity was that there was no stoner boat this year, due to the unofficial state we were in, lol
i don't have a problem with stirring the trim, it seems to naturaly float anyway. when it doesent float then i use a huge cattering soup serving spoon to get righht to the bottom.
i am very glad to hear that your WW was a success, its a great bit of weed when you get the right one. quite a few people said they though my WW reminded them of the original, interesting huh? that clone has been around for around 10 years as far as i know. there could be some skunk in there as it has a bit of a sour skunky taste too.
as far as the bubble bags go, i have allways used them all together. there is enough room in between the screens for the hash te collect. remember even if its on the top screen as soon as that bag gets pulled all the water will flush the bubble on the bootom of the bag off on to the next screen size. know what i mean?so that means it maters not if they touch, although i believe they don't actualy toch eachother.
nice pic by the way, hope it makes the good old fmcd for you when the time comes.

my bubble stash is ok, but compared with Nol's bubble selection its nothing much lol. on the 19th we were sitting around a table in Nols coffeeshop in Harlem smokeing all these different fine bubble hashes. out of this amazing glas steamroller pipe.

well when they are completely full its another matter. i did another run which was done solely with the toothbrush, it just needed to be freshly loaded. that was a batch of dried trim though and isn't compareable. but you are right they don't carry much reserve juice in them.

plannin' some o' de ol' BHO hey mon? i'll be looking forward to the pics. yeah man i'm not such a bho fan, since i've discovered the rewarding results i get from bubble makeing, i've lost all motivation for makeing oil with solvents, not when you can use ice and water lol.
a vibrator might be a brillliant idea? i just don't know. it wouldn't be ultrasonic vibrations but it might well do the job so to speak. but in the end its really the starting material that deceides the quality of the end product.
and i know that eople are getting fmcd uesing a cake mixer to mix with.

I'm all about the BubbleBags my friend, I've never tried the tane method, I'm easily distracted and it's explosive.
I'm toking some full melt from a wooden spoon batch, KaliSpice really yielded in the 73micron.
I'll let you know how it goes with a back massager, sex toys are sacred in this house

ahh i get it BH as in bubblehash not as in BHO, sorry mate i missunderstood.
i'm more worried about any possible butane rests in the hash then about the flamable aspect of jelly hash makeing. but they are both good solid points against butane extracted hash. specially when bubble hash is such a safe alternative.
it sounds like you are heavily enjoying your; wooden spoon mixed FMCD KaliSpice 73u. have you gotten fmcd uesing a cake mixer before? or do you only get it with a hand mix i wonder?
ok man, i'll be waiting to hear from you on how it goes with your massage machine, it will be interesting to hear how you adapt it to the present intentions lol haha, don't drop it in the bucket hey?

Just personally, i've never gotten Full melt with an electric mixer, only with a spoon but that may just be me.

thats interesting, because i never managed to get the full melt clear dome till i did the first test with the toothbrush. before that i was always uesing a cake mixer only. but i know trichomefarmer has goten FMCD uesing a mixer. i think alot depends on the strain too. but there is no doubt about it if you are after the best of the best then a wooden spoon would probably be enough. but i imagine the yield must suffer quite a bit and even bubble thats "just" melty is always very good to smoke. even if it doesn't make a dome, lol.

yes the stoner boat missing was a great pity. that really was very cool last time. congrats on the 20gallon bags. you know i have so seldome bothered to weigh my fresh frozen trim, that i don't know what fits. i know i'll do 6 lamps worth of trim in one go, just like i used to do 4 lamps worth in one go. you'll have to test it out but i think i've reached the limit. if you add too much it starts to work against you yieldwise. but what the fresh or dry weight would be, i have no idea.
i have posted a thread up on my 420 fun this year, its in the 420 section. i'm still working on it, less then half the pics up till now. i also posted a few anecdotes at the end of the trichomefarmers bike tour thread also in the 420 section. this year we again had a total colapse on our hands lol. all we know is that he hit tf's sage bubble in the bong at seed boutique, about 15 minutes before he fell of the edge of the sofa out cold for about 20 seconds.
the Diesel mums are doing fine, they actualy grew into the lamps while i was in amsterdam, but i have cut them right back and made a good 15 to 18 clones from each of my 5 Basic Diesel and 3 Sour Diesel mums. i want these mother plants to be well aged before i flower clones from them. but thats for the Diesel thread lol.

What about the Ultrasonic pond foggers, I have a few lying around? Might try it in a week or two........what do you think?

Won't work. I've used those in a hydro setup. The only ultrasonic part is the heads which atomize the shallow level of water above the head to a fog. They won't penetrate into the bucket like you need it to.

vibration sounds like the next direction for ice hashing....but surely one single electric toothbrush is not enough...wouldn't you need to use 6 or 12 electric toothbrushes at the same time for it to be effective time and yield wise?....or even better, a larger vibrating unit?
