Hey folks, this is the grow box that I'm aiming to make. Can anyone help me? I need advice on pretty much everything that's going to make this work or not work. I know the CO2 meter/regualator can be expensive and keeping humidity down and temps reasonable might be a challenge, but what else am I up against here? thanks for your help all :rasta:

Sounds like you're up against a lack of experience, which is always the hardest to overcome via posting/reading. The factors which influence your grow are limitless... you've got the plant size, type of venting, exhaust fan used, and the list goes on and on.

Why not do this - build it, light it, take some measurements of temp and begin fine tuning your environment. I wouldnt worry about CO2 until you at least get a box put together... kinda like worrying about what wheels to put on a car that doesnt yet even have an engine. :)

as long as you have good ventilation and a room to put the cab in that stays around 75 degrees consistently, you're good to go.

for a light-tight passive intake, try darkroom louvers on the bottom of the cab.

heya sativo!

i just recently decided to give the cab growing a shot. check out my setup using a 400w CMH and a full square yard v-scrog in less space than what your talking about. temps are reasonable and with the Co2 my growth is nothing short of amazing so far! i'll have a detailed diary showing my grow start to finish. check out my before and after photo's with only two days under the CMH. :headbange if you need any advice i'm always down to help out. self proclaimed DiY guru, i love the challenge of a new build.

BTW i would seriously say that the 400w was overkill to say the least. 250w Cmh in that space would be no problem to cool. the stanley blower is way more than you will need and it's only 40 bones at walbog's.

this same setup with a 250w would rock!
