Outdoor Grow in the Hoosier State

Well so far I have one or two spots picked out and about 30 seeds from a qp of skunk #1 we got from our grower. Looks like this year might be good. I am planting the majority in an old cow pasture that hasn't been used in about 4 years, but the grass is as green can be so I'm thinking it is really good soil.

What time do you guys think i should plant, I was going to give it 2-3 more weeks, but the earlier the better.

Feel free for comments and suggestions, I will need a lot of help this is my first real outdoor grow. The other one didn't count because i just threw a bag of seeds out by the edge of my pound and 2 months later seedlings came up lol.

Sounds like a good idea, i would plant sooner but Indiana climate is so unpredictable it's hard telling when it's going to stay warm for good or when a sudden overnight freeze hits.

Did you look up your last freeze dates? Look up when your last frost or freeze is and put em out 2 weeks after that date. You should be good.

tripples is right. The second week of may should find you planting. April = failure.
I wish you had some different seeds as skunk 1 is not going to be the easiest plant for you to grow the first time around. It will probably finish mid october and tends to mould but pay close attention once flowering begins and take her if conditions dictate.

Well I will be planting various other seeds that i have saved over the year from buyin qp's, so im sure if one type of strain fails i will have the back up of the others. Thanks for all the comments, i guess i will prep my garden end of march and plant 2nd week of may like you guys said.
