I was surprised also, there were more than just a couple or would have picked them off, done it before with Bubba :) All lower branches had them and a few were starting to show up underneath the top buds, even found the beginning of some seeds. I am sure it was something I did, not doubting the beans or genetics in anyway, just reporting what I find as I go :)
No light leaks, the room has 2 1000 watt air cooled HPS lights, not running CO2 at this time room stays cool enough, max temp in day is 80, night maybe drops to 70. PH is fine, was running nutes at about 1000 PPM of Pure Blend Pro Bloom.
Think that maybe the room was just too crowded, that is being worked on :)
Have decided to slow down on so many at once and really give more light to fewer plants. another week or two and it should be good :)
I am sure that #3 and #5 will be fine
Will keep ya posted :)
Remember I still have 15 more of these beans to go yet :))

I did find some male balls starting to form early on in flowering on some of my Blue Sonja, but I just picked them off and no more appeared. They were along the main stem (ie preflowers) and a couple along some of the branches, but I didn't find any in buds or in the upper colas.

You guys ever have any problems with mold in Blockhead? Ran some freebees fron the bay one time. One plant had a big fat dense cola with a fan blowin right on it...RH about 25%...had to toss half of it.

Not a problem for me yet on the Blue Sonja, maybe Growpuppet can chime in, he is further along, or Steele can tell ya, he has grown it out before :)

1G12 , tha BlockHead is typically a magnet for mold , as she is pretty dense . Our Blue Sonja offering gets pretty dense as well , however , we are going for tha sativa spectrum in regards to head , and flower structure . You should be fine with 25% RH while growing our offering , just keep an eye on 'em .

As Blaner stated , GrowPuppet has a thread in tha "test grow" area , displaying Blue Sonja , check it out . I'll be taking some shots of a seed run of our Blue Sonja , 3 different generations , and posting 'em soon ...

Good to see a new member in tha thread , I hope you find tha info your lookin' for ,

Sincerely ,
Steele

They look good Blaner . Getting a bit frosty . I must say that these girls love their light and would recommend getting more to 'em next go 'round . We keep our lamps nice an' close to tha canopy and they really benefit .

We topped these , kept cuts and flowed 'em out with 2 arms .......
These are at about 5 weeks with pics taken last week .....
