Hallucinogenic Strains?

Hello,

I am looking for a good strain to put in my setup. I came across a strain named "Belladonna" which is supposed to be "trippy".

Are there other varieties with a hallucinogenic nature? also, can someone describe a real "trippy" high? is it worth growing the plants for?

the only times ive tripped,was the results of smoking elephant weed from LA.this turned out to be sprayed with PCP(phencyclidine),a powerful hallucinogenic/tranquilizer!before long we were smoking this stuff alot,and subsequently getting arrested.good times.

Pot is not really hallucinogenic. Some sativas will cause time distortion, somewhat mystic thoughts and maybe enhanced colours and sounds, but not at the level of mushrooms or LSD.

I've smoked sativa that was very similar to a mild mushroom dose. Was Acapulco 120+.

Yeah I recently smoked some really fine bubble hash made from a sativa and the high was very trance-like, spiritual and felt rather shroomy. By the way, I have never hallucinated from shrooms or acid...some distortion and moving walls, but never seen any magical pixies or anything like that.

I don't believe there is a strain on the market that can make you truly hallucinate, but there are definitely some that do a decent job at mimicking those other shroomy qualities. The closest bet is hash or ingestion (pot brownies). Ingested herb will feel more close to a "trip"... that "drunken" body feeling that shrooms have....I would just assume take some shrooms if I was looking for a shroom high, though.

What, no magical pixies???? It's because you don't believe! I've done shrooms, acid, peyote, morning glory (bad trip, not recommended). But Pot isn't really much for hallucinating, a bit at times when spacing out and drifting to sleep. But of maybe 40 times taking acid only once was a major hallucination trip, where I died, hung on the cross with Jesus, and ended up in my own personal hell where I was the god of my own little world where everybody was just like me. Be careful what you ask for

ripOG: Exactly the high you described is what im looking for. I know its nowhere near a real trip, but its a special kind of high.

I would like to find strains, such as Belladonna, which at least claims to produce that sort of high. Hash in Germany is mostly indica. The "good stuff" just bombs you into couchlock...

I once had some nice pollen Hash i got from a Goa party .. but thats not every day ><.

Venomberry gives me mad auditory hallucinations sometimes! Although, I like big rollercoasters and watch all types of horror movies, and I know these types of thigs are not for everyone.

ive had weed that is more hallucinogenic than shrooms by far and there are sativas out there that are like dropping acid.

I bought a bag the day before I flew to live a thousand plus miles from where it was bought. So chasing it up again wasnt an option.

It was white-ish, nugget shaped, light and very very tight.
I was like an acid trip, not visual like shrooms, very much a head rip. It took ages to smoke the oz, because no-one I knew wanted to smoke it (it was something I couldnt smoke as a regular smoke), and these were all old bugger smokers same as myself. Smoked for 30 years plus and never had anything like it.

I'd love to find it again. certainly wasn't Malawi, or anything like that, this was truly mind expanding, very surpising gear. Like some-one is in the room with ya, paranoid-ish, but powerfull, time changing stuff. I grew nothing but sativas for many years, outside of course. Smoked some great sativas, wish i knew waht this stuff was.

that was 8 years ago now, still wonderig what it was. I'll try growing some belladonna, see what that's like. who knows?

Thanks for the great input. I read about the Malawi. It says it contains THCV which is special for some reason.

C21H30O2: That is the kind of talk ive heard from my Friends, and the reason im asking.

Maybe some people are more likely to trip from "trippy weed" than others.. nonetheless, I would think this kind of weed to be a good smoke while on shrooms or acid .

BTW: just put some Belladonna seeds to sprout !

the ony time i've every tripped for smoking weed was when my buddies brother was smoking pcp out of his pipe and the next day while he was at work we used his pipe not knowing about the pcp. he told us later when he came home and saw us trippin.

cannabis can make you trip balls, depends on strain, where it was grown, and how it was dried and cured, many variables to consider in order to obtain that 'hallucinogenic' experience.

look into highland colombian sativas, like corintian and red point/punto rojo.
