u know he's like legally blind or something, ali is sick. would love to him n atmosphere shred some words :joint:

Had no idea he was legally blind, thats pretty crazy. Atmosphere wasn't there but it was still a real tight show, especially for 7 bones.

Any one here ever hear of Dizzee Rascal? Hes a rapper in London and has some tripped out beats and a sweet accent with his flow.

Now, I listen to most everything minus pop, country, and other such thoroughly commercialized genres and 'musical groups'. This includes pretty much every genre of extreme metal(death, grind, doom,etc..), a little reggae(I prefer dub), and a WHOLE lot of progressive/ambient/psychedelic stuff. However the first tape I ever owned was Cypress Hill's 'Black Sunday' when I was but a wee lad. Shit I didn't even know that they were talking about ghanj at the time, I just liked the music. Very fitting though in retrospect..... That being said here is a list of some of the current hip-hop faves.....

MF Doom(King Ghedorah 'Take me to your Leader' is my current fave)
Madlib(The Beat Konducta India is really trippy to listen to on headphones while you walk around smoking hash...just a suggestion...;)
Del tha Funky Homosapien(The new album is out today!! Gotta have it.)
Hieroglyphics(full circle is amazing)
People Under the Stairs(They have that old school flavor with a nice modern spin)
Dr Octagon(Kool Keith is a fucking wierdo)
There's a host of others I'm too stoned too think of right now...

First started listening to rap/hip-hop 6 years ago. My first album ever was Licensed to Ill by the Beastie Boys. Then I bought Hello Nasty and most of the other Beastie Albums. Then got into all other sorts of rap ranging from Red Hot Chili Peppers to Wu-Tang. It's been a while and my favorites have changed but my deepest respects go out to Nas. Nas is the illest and definitely deserves to be as publicly revered as any other hip-hop legend.

My favorite 10:

1. Nas
2. Bone Thugs n Harmony (hehe, you all know exactly why :canabis:)
3. Jurassic 5
4. Beastie Boys
5. Wu-Tang
6. Public Enemy
7. Ice Cube
8. Tupac
9. Run DMC
10. Biggie

There are so many more great artists out there that can seriously flow. It's a shame how so many underground artists don't get a cent for the music they make while artists like Young Joc and Souljah Boy and posers like them make millions for rapping about the same shit (girls, cars, and money) on different beats.
