58FLH - Thanks, I'll look into that.

Paddi - Thank you, your outdoor is looking really promising... very nice genetic collection. Best of luck with that garden.

I took full advantage of having Friday off. Spent the whole day in my backyard just listening to music, watering and transplanting things in the garden and enjoying some OG Kush...

Such a nice day out. I'll get the "white house" finished this weekend, today was for relaxing.

Be easy everyone,

Germ :joint:

Oh man this looks tight. I am guessing your in the state I am in, so good luck I am sure you will do fine! How many hrs of light does your "white house" have? Looks good so far, got strains planned to go in? I'll be back, PEACE

Beautiful plants germ.

In regards as to when to put them out, multiple factors must be considered for a proper decision.

How big would they be when you put them out?

How many in how big of a space?

What strains?

How many hours of direct sun light?

How much head room are you working with? I'd imagine the tubberware are about 18"-22", so how much after that?

When these are answered, I could pretty accurately answer how much you'll yield and when you should put them out.

caligreen - Don't know how many exact hours of direct light the spot will get, but it is more than anywhere else in the yard. There are no trees or large houses to block sunrise and the only tree that obstructs the setting sun does so in a limited way. As for strains... one is certain (OG X Bubba Kush). How many of the 12 end up being this strain will depend on what other mostly indica strains i can get ahold of before I have to throw them in.

Mr. Celsius - They won't be too big when they go out. Maybe once topped and root bound in a very small container. That may all depend on what I can get ahold of and how well my clones root next round. I'm going to have them siting on bricks until that is not possible, so that will be space available if needed toward the end, and I can always mod the structure a foot or two if needed at the end in couple hours.

One per each 18 gal container. You can get an idea in the pics of how much space each will have.

I would plant early June. Train hardcore... probably individual scrogs on each plant.

I would put stakes in the corners of each rubbermaid, then attach chicken wire to do the scrogg. This would be the easiest way to train them.

Nice backyard day.....I am just starting to soil prep for some veggies.....will def slip in a clone or two :) scrog is a great way (as I'm sure you know) I like to use the 1x1 plastic garden fencing for my indoor scrog......little easier to deal with than the chicken wire....

Good luck...... can't wait to see it all goin green!

"The polycarbonate is white, and is is not transparent, yet is translucent making it suitable for growing. Nobody will be peeking over any fences or spying from the sky" - - page one of this thread - -

The pictures are taken (all so far) in the evening, so not too much direct sunlight. Read KMK420KAIL's responses to this thread... they grow.

Be easy all... off to the indoor, later.

Tied down the 2 moms.

The Lavender cuts are looking good.

The Bubba Kush X OG Kush look good.

The two smallest cuts, aren't taking off. One is doing better than the other and is showing some nice feeder roots in the clear plastic cups. The other is not and I've been trying to keep it pretty moist to keep it from drying out in the sun.

Indoor is looking good, outdoor is taking some steps in the right direction.
Best of luck in your gardens all

HOT in Germ City today!!! So hot I had to open the windows on the girls.

Transplanted the other day. Healthy feeders all around, and they are loving the new space so far.

^ Here is one thing I'm noticing that will help me with the full summer run^ The root mass of these two larger mammas drink up each watering much quicker in the center where the majority of the root mass is from the previous container. Next time I will have to transplant into one more smaller container before the 18gals to curb this uneven watering.

Be easy all,

Time will tell if this Spring crop has enough time to mature. Hopefully they won't revert to veg and give me leafy bud. Been learning a lot about local winds, temp variation on warm days, humidity at night... all in all been learning much about the white house and how to handle it this summer.

if ya dont want them to revert, then ya going to have to bring them into a dark place at for 12hours at a time or cover up the house with some dark tarps or something to make it dark inside there

to properly do a spring grow ya generally put the plants out in march and harvest early May then let them reveg under the sun and harvest again in october :)

If your on the west coast I know my outdoor plants started to revert already, so I have new ones outside that I bring throw in a trashcan at night to make them receive 12 hours of darkness and they look gorgeous. Your plants look like they are flowering well so far but I wouldn't doubt it if you see them start to revert soon.

On another note, I am looking at that "lavender" and also the "purple bubba" you got and am I reading it correctly they both say 3-4 WEEKS flowering????? That is way off or those are the fastest flowering plants in the world.....Well looking good I'll be around! Peace
